I was excited to see this option to replace my gold Oura Ring 4. My Oura Ring 4 was and is still serviceable - I will continue to use it on occasion I think, but I absolutely love the smaller profile and redesigned finish. I bought this upgrade because of the size, but on the Oura site they mentioned a redesigned finish and I was extremely curious. It is so much better! The previous generation gold finish leaned a bit brassy and clashed with my other gold jewelry. This new finish trends between 10K and 14K gold in the saturation of color and fits right in with my other jewelry while just being altogether more attractive than my Oura 4 smart ring. Attaching a picture comparing it with the band of my 14K gold ring. I would include the Oura 4 comparison, but I do not have it with me. I absolutely love the insight this ring gives to me and the suggests to make my hectic life seem just a little more manageable. I decided to get the 5 instead of the 4. I used the 4 sizing kit and it worked fine. Size 8 is a little snug but that's how it should for for optimization of functions. The app is easy to use. It is thinner and more stylish than the 4.

I love the new Oura Ring 5. I like the size of it, this size is 10x more comfortable than the 4. The gold looks like a real gold instead of the yellow. This product is excellent for women’s health tracking especially but can be used for men as well.

This ring is everything I wish the Oura 4 had been! It is not only a more narrow band, but it's also much thinner and sits flat against my finger like a normal ring does. I had the Oura 4 in gold, and it was a brassy yellow gold and not very realistic. The Oura 5 gold is lighter and looks exactly like my other gold jewelry! Arrived damaged (significantly scratched) and seems thicker than the band of the sizing ring. The amount of scratches and gold worn away makes me think it’s not as durable as Oura claims. I also actually think they may have sent me a Gen4 in the Gen5 packaging bc of how much thicker it feels. I was so disappointed.
