Who doesn't love the smell of buttery syrup!? This brings back memories of childhood. The smells were different when used in an oil warmer as compared to a defuser. When heat is added, the smells becomes unpleasant. I prefer the defuser as it doesn't interfere with intended scent.

I don’t use this in candles but I’m sure you can, I use mine w/reeds in a decorative jar.
