My wife and I live in New Hampshire and depending on the year, winter seasons can be very difficult with downed power lines and loss of power. As we are aging, it is getting more difficult to fire up and use the gas operated generators we have become accustomed to. I also just had back surgery and needed something that was easy to use when needed. We looked at Generacs, however, the price was not within our means. Plus, it would require regular propane tanks being refilled. This backup power is perfect. We already have the house wired with a manual transfer switch that will run all of our needed systems. With the Guardian 6000, it is as simple as plugging in the cord to the transfer switch and powering up our needed systems. Very impressed with the product and highly recommend it!

The OUPES Guardian 6000 Power Station is a great product at a great price. This unit will power our entire home during a power outage, and charges back up fast. Charging cables are included for 120/240v input and for the solar charging Anderson input. Would definitely buy again!

Overall, very happy with the device. It works as advertised. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that you cant update the device firmware with their app. A flagship device should absolutely have this ability to fix problems that may arise or make the device better/more efficient.

We have solar, but no battery backup. During g the day we sell our excess energy back to the grid for pennies, the from 4-9pm they jack up the rate, so even though a lot of our solar power was going back to the power company, we still had a bill every month. Now I plug this in to our transfer switch, and run the house on the Guardian 6k from 4-9pm. Then we charge it up again the next day when our solar is producing and recharge the unit for free. Plenty of reserve power to last through the evening, and enough power to run a crock pot, instant pot, air fryer and microwave all simultaneously (used it in the evening even during the holidays and all the meals we cooked). A seriously impressive unit. I keep it connected to the wifi so I can monitor it and its charge rate while at work, and haven't had any issues so far. If you're on the fence about this unit, get it. It's the cheapest unit out there with the most bang for the buck. Especially if you need the split phase 240v to run the house.

Hi i bought 1 in January it worked for a month and stop. I emailed the company and told me how to fix it .Did not work they told me to return it. They sent me a box and label to return it for a new one. I sent it back April 2 2026. When they receive it they will send me a new one by April 16 2026. They seem to back there product.

Got the Guardian as a home backup, because my power goes out often for a couple of hours at a time. Pulling a portable generator out of the shed and getting it running seemed like a pain. The Guardian is pretty much effortless - flip a couple of switches and I'm good to go. So far, the Guardian has worked perfectly - runs my whole house, no problem.

Love it. Living in a high hurricane area I needed something to carry me over with electrical power while in the storm. I ran a test to see how the Oupes 6000 would preform. I charged the unit up to 95% with my standard 20 amp outlet. I started with 40% and topped it off to 95% in 1.5 HRS. I then hooked it up to my generator outlet plug 50AMPS to my panel which has a feed lock to shut off power back feeding. I ran general lighting, internet, 86'' TV, (2) full size 26 CF refigerators, ceiling fans, and a few minutes of my 1200 watt microwave. I did not run my 4 tom HVAC. I was able to get 8 hrs with a remaining 40% left. This is perfect for me to get thru the storm before hooking up my portable generator outside when the weather turns safe. I have not tested this but I could charge it in 2 hours from tyhe generator so that at night I can run the home on the Oupes 6000 and have some peace and quiet. Highly recommend. I'm thinking about adding the additional battery G5 or two to this to run my HVAC.. Highly recommend..
