  • The OUPES Guardian 6000. Great power station at a great price. With 240v output too!
Style: Guardian 6000
The OUPES Guardian 6000 Power Station is a great product at a great price. This unit will power our entire home during a power outage, and charges back up fast. Charging cables are included for 120/240v input and for the solar charging Anderson input. Would definitely buy again!

  • 50 Amp-runs everything!
Style: Guardian 6000
50 Amp- and runs everything. When I did a test to see just how capable this unit is, I connected it to the shore power of my 50 Amp travel trailer - turned on the Furion Chill AC, the Coleman AC, all the lights, and the microwave - frankly I turned on everything I could all at the same time - and it ran everything until I had it completely discharged. In a real world scenario I wouldn't ever expect to do/need this. Very impressive. Now it has a few shortcomings in my view that may not be an issue at all for you. The position of the 50 amp plug receptacle at the bottom of the unit means a straight plug-in cable or propping the unit up to be able to accept the typical 90-degree RV shore power cable plug; and the Bluetooth only access to the status of the unit, as its a dumb display, means if the BT connection is out, your running blind (so know how to do a reset) and if this is tucked away in a storage compartment its no picnic to move. Update: Nothing compares at this price point to offer two-phase output for whole house backup, or so you can keep your 50 amp RV fully functional off grid. ... show more

  • Big power, low price.
Style: Guardian 6000
I received my OUPES guardian 6000 about a week ago. So far, I’m extremely impressed and happy with it. I own eight other power stations, but this is my first OUPES and it’s by far my largest. It is very heavy and at 74 years old, there is no way I can lift it. Thankfully, the wheels and luggage style handle do allow some mobility. My primary interest in this unit is its ability to produce 240V power. I do plan on using this as a whole home back up when needed and the 240V output will allow me to energize both legs of my 120V circuits, even if I don’t plan on using 240V appliances. The installed battery capacity and inverter capabilities are excellent, especially at this price point. The only reason for the four star rating are my two minor complaints about the product. The first being the app. Why, in this day and age can we not get an easy to connect, smooth running app, which stays connected, on a $2000 power station. Other major manufacturers managed to accomplish this even on sub $500 units. My second issue involves the solar charging. On paper, the single 2100W. (140V/15A) charge controller looks impressive, but achieving this input with the voltage and amperage ratings of most panels is nearly impossible. Personally, I hope future units incorporate a second charge controller for more solar flexibility. Overall, disregarding my two personal complain complaints, this is an impressive solar generator, at an extremely good price point. If you are looking for a 240V capable power station, this one deserves serious consideration. ... show more

  • I have been using this daily to help offset my power bill.
Style: Guardian 6000
We have solar, but no battery backup. During g the day we sell our excess energy back to the grid for pennies, the from 4-9pm they jack up the rate, so even though a lot of our solar power was going back to the power company, we still had a bill every month. Now I plug this in to our transfer switch, and run the house on the Guardian 6k from 4-9pm. Then we charge it up again the next day when our solar is producing and recharge the unit for free. Plenty of reserve power to last through the evening, and enough power to run a crock pot, instant pot, air fryer and microwave all simultaneously (used it in the evening even during the holidays and all the meals we cooked). A seriously impressive unit. I keep it connected to the wifi so I can monitor it and its charge rate while at work, and haven't had any issues so far. If you're on the fence about this unit, get it. It's the cheapest unit out there with the most bang for the buck. Especially if you need the split phase 240v to run the house. ... show more

  • Great starter home backup system
Style: Guardian 6000
Great unit. Can run most of my house with no issues. Would be perfect for a short term power outage. Only downside is that it doesn't have pass through charging on 240v and on the 120v when plugged in only has some outlets work and the inverter goes from 3600w to about 2300w.
