Total mix-up on my part. I was browsing for regular earrings and somehow ended up with a cartilage stud, which is on me for not reading more carefully before I clicked. The good news is it's genuinely cute, and I have a friend who'll actually love this, so it's going into my little stash of gifts I keep for birthdays that sneak up on me. The star design is sweet without being over the top, and the dangle bit adds just enough movement to make it feel a little playful instead of plain. Build quality looks solid from what I can tell handling it. The metal has a nice weight to it, the CZ catches light well even just sitting on my desk, and the threading on the back feels precise rather than wobbly or cheap. Nothing about it screams flimsy. I obviously can't speak to how it wears or whether the flat back actually sits comfortably against the skin, since I'm not the one who's going to be using it, but the construction gave me enough confidence to feel okay passing it along instead of returning it. The little pouch it came in is a nice touch too, means I don't have to scramble for packaging when I hand it over. For teh price it feels like a really thoughtful little something, and my friend is into the celestial Y2K kind of vibe so this should land well. Happy accident in the end.

This piercing jewelry is really cute once it’s in! The star dangle adds just the right amount of flair without being too big or heavy, and it looks great in a helix or tragus piercing. The quality seems nice, and I love the overall design. The reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it was much harder to put in than expected. The threads are very tiny, making them difficult to line up and screw together, especially if you’re changing jewelry by yourself. The bar length is also on the shorter side, which can make installation a bit more challenging. That said, once you get it on, it looks adorable and is comfortable to wear. If you’re patient during the insertion process, the final look is definitely worth it!

I’ve been wanting to mix up my cartilage piercing for awhile now. I only really wear the earrings that have the completely flat backs now as I hate having to take them out for bed and also hate the feeling of the back digging into my head. This is a very nice earring. It fits in my cartilage piercing with no issues. It’s tight enough that I dont have to really worrying about it catching on anything but not so tight that it causes any issues. I’m very happy with this and would recommend it. I could see how someone may be worried about a dangle on your cartilage but I havent had any issues with it. It’s obviously there but just like the post, it isnt long enough to cause any issues.

The earring can be wore on any part of the ear or the nose and is hypoallergenic made from stainless steel so I don't worry about irritation. The top star blings like crazy and is very eye catching plus the earring itself is very light weight and comfortable so no pressure or pulling on my ear. It's a pretty earring that fits well in my auricle. It's a little long for the placement of my conch. Sometimes the points of the star dig in a little and get irritating. The gold color is nice, but it will wear off. It hasn't started to turn my ear green yet. I love that it's internally threaded and you can put a different top on the post if you want to change it. I do wish this came in a titanium option for more sensitive ears, but so far this had been fine. I also like that the star is not so small you can't tell what it is. The top does come lose sometimes and needs a good tightening so you don't lose it. If you have one of the tools, you should be good.
