This part was a perfect fit for my smart 451. Once installed the car recognized it and went through a calibration cycle on its own. Once complete the three lines in the dash went out and showed it in park and allowed the car to start. Driving the car the shifting improved with the new part showing that the old part has been going out for some time. Much better value than the Mercedes dealer.
