The magnet on this case is pretty good. I have an off brand case I got (just for looks) and the magnet on it wasn’t so dependable. I would say the only downside is that it is starting to yellow a little but honestly it’s not that bad. Bought this back a couple of months ago. I have been a fan of Otterbox from their early days. I love this clear case because it allows the iPhone color to pop through. This has been my first MagSafe case, so I am unable to compare it to others, but it's been compatible with every MagSafe charger that I have used. I use a MagSafe charger every night and it's been so far so good. I also use the MagSafe Popsocket attachment to help hold my phone. It's a quick and easy attach/detach system. The case can be a bit slippery and hard to hold without grip attachment due to its sleekness and also due to the size of the iPhone Pro Max. The media could not be loaded. I dropped, threw and smashed my phone in past 2 years, and not sure you can see but there are shattered corners but my iPhone 13pro max was as pristine as day 1. Just received new one today, highly recommend

This otterbox works as intended, feels great, looks good, and it fits just right. What more do you need? Sure, there are other brands, but I trust otterbox and their warranty, especially because I’ve actually used it in the past and it was one of the smoothest experiences ever.

I love the case, which works great with MagSafe charging. It protects the phone from drops. The downside is that sometimes, while trying to get my phone out of my pocket, it gets stuck, and my fingers slide on the phone til I’m pulling only on the edge of the case. Over time, it causes the edge rubber to detach in that spot, then stretches. It does need replacing every 2-3 years. I bought a hard-side otterbox that doesn’t do that, but didn’t realize I didn’t make sure it was MagSafe compatible. After a few months, I grew weary of removing the outer thick plastic so I could charge it. I guess it would have been cheaper to buy a charging cable rather than a new case. ... show more

I have had many protective cases, but I think this is my favorite so far. Lightweight, not bulky but sturdy. I love that it has a magnetic feature so that I can easily attach it to the charger. I received the case on time with no issues.

Otter Box is the only cover I can use since I’m a klutz and drop my phone often! This particular cover allows you to remove your Pop Socket to charge your phone without having to remove the case! I highly recommend
