My new favorite IPhone 12 Pro case. MagSafe magnet works well but not as well as other cases. Installation was somewhat tricky since it was a tight fit. Cost effective and durable, this case is a perfect size for small hands. A few drawbacks is the back is very smooth which is great for sliding into pants but not great for holding onto. Also the blue rubber on the side gets dirty quickly and will need frequent washing.

I’ve been a Otterbox fan for years, and this case doesn’t disappoint. Has a high bezel to protect the screen, the back is grippy enough to prevent accidental sliding, and the build quality is good. Cannot go wrong for $10!

Don’t care much for the bright Blue edge but can live with it. This was the only color available for my iphone 12, which is old; so is this case -- I'm guessing it's a leftover from when these were fist being manufactured. The edge bumber that goes around the entire phone looks and feels as good and protective as my Speck Presido2 Pro case. The raised bezel is not as pronounced as the Speck Presidio2 Pro but still protects the screen when laying the phone screen side down. It does not have a raised bezel frame around the Camera lens opening like the Speck, but that’s ok. The silicone rubber edge is grippy, better than the Speck. The back of the case is smooth and makes it pocket friendly. The MageSafe ring on the inside of the case does work, it couples well to the magnetic car phone mount, but I would not say it’s very strong – but is strong enough to hold the phone in securely in place. We’ll see how it fares when I’m driving and hit some bumps. 9 Apr 2025 –Post Driving Comments: THE GOOD NEWS: My phone stays secure even when driving over tall speed bumps. So my primary reason for buying this case has been achieved. THE NOT SO GOOD (and reason for removing 2 stars): For me, and this is purely a personal preference, the buttons work too well, needing only the lightest touch to operate. I prefer something firmer. And although case edge has a nice, secure feel to it, it’s too soft. The bumper edge at the bottom of the case where the port openings are is too soft and too thin. It distort easily, catches on edges (like my pockets), and will eventually tear. I will return this case and continue using my old Speck Presidio2 Pro case but stick a MagSafe ring on it. Problem solved. On a side note, I think it would be fairly accurate to say that nearly everyone who owns a cell phone and buys a case for it (and that’s well over 4 billion people world-wide), that the primary reason for buying a case is to protect the phone if dropped (and we have all dropped one). As an old retired engineer, I fail to understand why manufacturers design cases with flat edges. If they were to simply make them with ROUNDED edges (e.g., half circle), the case would be not only be far more protective because of the extra cushioning material, the phone would also be easier to pick up from flat surfaces and feel better in your hand.
