I love Otterbox for a phone case. I have had the Defender series twice now and switched to the Commuter series, because it's thinner. The case is very durable, slim and works well. It was easy to install. I will mention, that the little flap that you move away, to plug in your charger will eventually fall off, due to the frequent use. It fell off on my Defender and I expect it to fall off with this one. I usually just save it, and still use it, to keep dust out of the charging space. I’ve had this OtterBox case on my iPhone 17 Pro Max for a while now, and overall it has done a great job protecting my phone. It’s taken a few pretty nasty falls and my phone has stayed completely safe every time, it definitely feels durable enough to handle everyday accidents and rough use. The case has a solid rugged feel and good grip. My only complaint is that the charging port cover eventually broke off after about two months of use. It’s not a dealbreaker since the case still protects the phone well, but it was disappointing because that little extra dust protection was nice to have. Overall, this is a very durable case that does its main job well and keeps your phone safe, just don’t expect every small attached piece to hold up forever. ... show more
