Great protection for the phone. Back in the old days though, we got the case and screen protector. Now the case is twice the price of the old one and you have to pay the same for the screen protector. So we pay 4 times the price. But the plastic material is dripping in quality to. The edges on the case were rough and very prone to scratches. They used to be sturdier. But the box does its job well in protecting the phone. Been a while since I’ve bought OtterBox. After killing a screen on my 16 figured should get one. The case is not as bulky as I remember. 😞 At the top and bottom it has higher raised edges. The sides are much thinner. The plastic seems more durable than the cheaper ones I’ve been buying. The tap to wake doesn’t work once I install the case over my screen protector. Not sure why that is. Over all I’m happy, but time will tell. Hopefully I don’t have to find out again. Phone fell off trailer going 30. Pretty sure it got ran over. Cheap case and good screen protector kept the phone safe, for most part. Lost a couple pixels and cracked the screen. Had that happen with an otterbox on an older phone and didn’t touch my phone.
