I would never ever be able to hold the iphone in my hand! Too slippery!! This is my third Otterbox Defender. I drop my phone all the time and Defender is a lifesaver! I didn't understand that it didn't come with its own screen protector like the last one did -- but truthfully that was kind of an annoying plastic thing -- worked, but a little hard to keep clean and a little funky. I picked this case because it appeared that the opening for the camera lens was more recessed, making the camera lens not stick out from the outer case. Not so.
