I tried another case that was less expensive but ended up sending it back the quality was poor. this case was easy to install your phone into the cover. works very well with my Subaru wireless charging pad not bulky and easy to hold. it is transparent which I love I bought a lavender phone and did not want to hide its color. I am very particular about my phone cases. My cases have to be protective, have to feel nice in my hands, and can’t be bulky. Otterbox is the only brand worth the money and who meets all my case requirements. This case feels great in my hands and the clear background showcases my phone’s color. I added a few stickers on the back and that really added that “pop” feature. I agree with others who mentioned that the case is difficult to put on.. it took me a solid 20 minutes. Oh… and when I found a hair on the back of the phone under the case, I almost cried lol took forever to get the case off and then another 15 minutes to put it back on 😂 I don’t drop my phone often (knock on wood) so I can’t attest to its drop protection. ... show more

Overall the case is nice. Seems very durable and protective. However putting it on the phone was somewhat difficult. There were no instructions. I didnt realize there were two pieces. Had to google how to put the case on. Finally got the case on after multiple attempts and the case seems nice. Really like the color. I ordered the light purple color and it matches the color of my phone (light purple) ... show more

I love otterbox and lifeproof cases and have always used them, however I was slightly disappointed when my defender case came in. It does feel extremely sturdy and protective while ON my phone, but before putting it on it felt a bit flimsy and cheap, definitely not what I was expecting for $70. In addition it was SO difficult to get the case on my phone, I ended up having to use a butter knife to get the soft part of the case to wrap around the thin clear plastic piece. Overall, I love the look and feel of the case, and do like the case now that it is on my phone, but just not 100% what I was expecting, especially for the price. 1 MONTH UPDATE: the case has protected my phone from drops and has seemed to have held up well, however i’m extremely disappointed in the color of the case. the purple only stayed purple for about a week, with just normal use it’s turned a grayish brown with a purple twinge. definitely not worth $70 unless you’re buying it solely for protection. ... show more
