When I fist got my Z Fold 3, there was no Otter Box available. I made due with other cases, and when I upgraded to the Z Fold 6, I went with the same cases. Then when my last case broke again, as they are all so flimsy, I did another search and saw Otter Box was making them for the Z Fold line. Is it expensive? Yes. But you instantly feel the difference in quality. The way the plastic feels, the perfect fit, and I LOVE that this is one piece. All the others are in two parts, and the parts don't usually work perfectly. This case is a little more bulky, which I find to be a good thing for actual protection. The hing protection is absolutely perfect. The hings cover is perfectly centered and flat. When you have it open and lay it down, it balances on the hing instead of falling to one side or another due to the weird angle and position you get on all other cases. Wireless charging through the case works perfectly, despite the slightly thicker case. A built-in stand might have been nice, but I will let that slide for a case that is made with the proper care and quality as opposed to all the random letter clone brands that now flood Amazon. ... show more

From my experience it’s been really hard to find a great case for the Fold6 but so far this one is the best one. This definitely makes your phone super bulky but it feels really protected. The power button can get hard to get to for the fingerprint sensor but it’s worked for me most of the time. Sometimes the gestures to the top or sides of the screen can be hard to activate because of the deep case but it’s worth the sacrifice for that feeling of protection. The camera is deep in there and feels very protected too. The usb c protector is a nice touch but usually I prefer none. I love that you technically don’t need any of the adhesives to make this work, basically pop it in because it’s a one piece design and it’s good to go. My other gripe would be it didn’t come with a holster which I expected from other Otter box cases. I’ve seen other cases get a coupon for a free one but mine didn’t. I just wished it had MagSafe and it was a lot thinner. Overall I highly recommend this case to keep your phone safe. I got this at a sale price and it’s worth it, but at full price it’s hard to justify. ... show more

    • No S Pen storage, no front screen proctor.

It's Otterbox, and what I mean is it fits like every Otterbox very secure and snug. The bad part on this phone (Galaxy ZFold 6) is it does not have any storage for the S Pen. Also no screen protector for the front screen. Of these problems the most annoying to me was that the case is so thick I could not get my large thumb or finger onto the fingerprint reader properly to unlock my screen. I sent this case back and got the Tongate and it fits just as good as the Otterbox but is thin enough that I can access the fingerprint reader and it has S pen storage and also a front screen protector. While the case gives you good protection from damage to your phone, the case itself isn't compatible with the phone. You have to push the case down and out if the way to be able to catch the edge of the small screen to scroll up. Goes the same for the sides to be able to swipe to go back.

Had this case for a solid 2 weeks. Phone fell out of my coat pocket and onto the floor. The spine of the case snapped off.... had to throw case away. Extremely disappointed as I've had previous otterboxes and they were great cases.

The good: I love the way it fits the phone perfectly. And how the sides are flat and almost feel like a regular phone when it's folded shut. The ridges on the front of the phone stick up a good amount for added protection, but on the inside it basically flush with the phone. The design for the spine protection is really great too. Probably the best I've seen from a one-piece case. It has a adhesive strip to help stick to the front of the phone but it doesn't seem like you would need it. It stays put really well. The bad: I do wish they would come out with a version that had an integrated stand, or a pen holder, or some magsafe compatibility. The phone charges on a wireless charger without taking the case off but it goes VERY slow. It could possibly have to do with the charger also, so take that with a grain of salt. The Otter Box Defender XT I received for my Samsung Fold 6 is well designed, and looks and feels great. I had a few problems with it because the installation video instructions were for an Iphone. Not a bit helpful there. Additionally, it was very difficult to install. The package said there was a sheet designed to go on the screen, but there wasn't. I tore the package apart searching. Nope. Once I got it installed I couldn't find the charger port. After a bit of searching I discovered that there is a plastic latch cover that's snapped over the charger port. It seems like a good idea, but that cover was very difficult to open. I had to get out a screwdriver, after breaking a thumbnail, to get the darn thing open. With the cover open, it was difficult to get my charger cable attached and difficult to remove it too. Finally I figured out that the cover can be removed, with sufficient pulling, that is. I suppose the cover is nice when the phone is only charged with the surface charging device. I'm sure it will be great in my car, where such a port exists. Now that my phone is securely installed in the case, it looks and feels really good. It's too bad it was so hard to get it to that point. I would have rated it 5 stars otherwise. ... show more
