2nd purchase after 5 months: Within 3 weeks, dropped and landed on the spine corner. The spine (outside of the fold) cover pops off and the end of the spine cover is damaged. Same as previous, obvious weakest part, and undeniably the most difficult to engineer, granted. So why not sell a replacement spine cover, even in packs of three, that can popped right back on? The rest of the cover is like Defender, same stuff. I've used otter box since the Al one for the original Palm (look that tech history up kids) and it's been the Cadillac. Too bad they don't have decent engineers and management running things like the good old days. Original Broke at the spine after the first fall. We'll see what spring brings, but I'm not hopeful. After the second tumble, the spine became less. Only the other shell half's remained. Of course, this was untenable. Maybe nine-able, but eleven-able was unreachable. Otterbox should focus more on spine design now they must fold the box. Inception folded its box, but it was only moving pictures. In reality, protecting fold spines is immeasurably more difficult. I'm very picky with cases I tried ghost tek and it ate up the screen the spigen case is alright but this case is a all in one design the case doesn't slip off due to lack of adhesive its snugg on the phone, if you purchased a z fold 6 and don't have this case. What are you doing. When installing over screen protector hold the screen protector down as you install the case and then move to the next side when having to push down and apply same technique. The case won't cause air bubbles if you try this method I also ordered a case friendy glass protector if it helps swell Otterbox knocked it out the park no screen eating edges and feels quality I haven't dropped it and don't plan to ... show more

I am culpable because I purchased it thanking that maybe the difficulty was exaggerated, or that the case would loosen up. I've always respected Otterbox for the quality. Of their cases. I would give this case a five star if there was a place for the S Pen so I'm taking off one star for that.... I went through many cases and they were all garbage...the left hand glued on piece of plastic would never stay, my first case was the Samsung Spen case that broke for no reason... yes this case is a little bit thicker and heavier but for me it works great and it protects my phone which was not cheap ... show more

As my title says! theres no other case for the zfold 6 other then the Otterbox Defender XT! Ive tried a bunch of others from spen cases, to heavy duty ones but i always come back to this one! its also one of a few that has a port cover! i also attached a lanyard to it. i love this case!

Slip and slide... Got this for my fold Z six. I've had otterbox cases for many of my phones. I've marveled over the quality and durability of previous cases. But this case is absolutely trash. I know the seam makes these harder to protect but the part that covers the seam has broken twice. Both times, the phone just slid out my pocket, hitting the floor form no more then two feet. I've never dropped my phone, it just slides out after getting this case. The material is not rubbery like for my note 20 and 23. It's plastic and its brittle at the seam. These fold z is brick so it falls like one and having a smooth case is an absolutely fail. If you value your phone. Get another case, not this. The design is good. The material is not. Mine broke the first time four days after the return eligibility date. Go figure... ... show more

Love that it protects the spine of the phone, the other cases I looked at did not. Would prefer it had a S-Pen holder. It's on the bulky side, but it's designed to protect a $2000 phone
