Feels really good in the hand, and provides excellent protection, even better than some other name brands. The ends are nicely raised for excellent cushion and drop protection, and unlike other name brand cases I've used, even the sides are slightly raised higher than the screen. I Now Understand the Hype

This is the first OtterBox that I've ever purchased. For my various cell phones, I've usually gone with the least expensive option. Or at least not as expensive as OtterBox. This time, I decided to try it. Man was I surprised and pleased at its quality! It provides a precise, tight fit on my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. The grips on the side ensure that I have to really mess up to have it slip out of my hands. It's obviously well crafted and feels extremely durable. A standard otterbox defender, nice color

I have a love/have relationship with Otterbox, because while they come in nice colors and are generally fairly protective, the soft texture of the outer soft layer is such thay they stretch out and fall apart fairly quickly, which I dislike a lot. But that being said, I like the level of protection, it's light & covers all buttons and ports which is good for added water resistance, but does tend to scratch up the charging port a bit over time due to feeling around for the port (fixable with magnetic charging cable or wireless charging). Overall Otterbox cases are good, but I do wish the outer soft layer was a bit more firm & long-lasting; it lifts off the back of the interior layer if you use a popsocket or similar, only resolved by place some kind of adhesive between the two layers allowing them to stay stuck together. They're good cases but I think some slight alterations could really make them superior ... show more

Best protection/performance case for the S23 Ultra
Color: Black
This case is amazing. It provides optimal protection while remaining fully functional. The Top and bottom bumpers offer great protection for drops. The left and right bumpers are lower to account for the curved screen.
