    • Withstands multiple drops.
Otterbox is the only protection you need for your phone. I would like the to make the little flip that opens up for the charging cord to be stronger. That little flip wears out and rips off after many times of having to charge the phone. It doesn't happen right away but it does happen with time.

On my 3rd otterbox Defender, last one kept my IPhone 6s looking brand new after 7 years! The older model came with a clear screen cover built into the case, it did have a bunch of scratches, but kept the phone underneath perfect. The new version Defender Pro is almost identical except no screen cover. I'm fine with that, ordered Ailun Glass screen protector 3 pk for $7, they fit perfectly. Tried the Defender XT with magsafe feature was well made, but the Defender Pro has a full plastic case instead of just a 1/2 plastic tray on the XT. The Defender Pro is virtually the SAME SIZE as the XT case but offers the traditional protective shell, with NICELY TEXTURED rubber back & sides. The XT only has the rubber sides, the back is a smooth plastic, not nearly the grip offered by the Defender Pro. It's going to slide around on flat surfaces especially on your cars dashboard. As for the wireless magsafe capabilities , many reviews mentioned It's to thick to charge properly, not an issue for me, what's the real difference if you have to attach to the bach or plug it in on the bottom? The important thing is the phone charging is much quicker using the lighting plug.... ... show more

    • Defender is the best protection you can buy.

The defender design is thinner and less bulky than Otter defender designs for earlier iPhones. It also fits around the camera bump, so that the phone can lay flat (very important). The only drawback is that it doesn’t come with the screen cover (previous defender designs used to have the cover as part of the case), so now I have to purchase one separately. Otter has always been and will always be my go-to. I strongly recommend Otter defender cases. They are the best protection you can buy. Otter Defender Series saved my phone when it was dropped onto the road, face-down, and then run over by a car. So, I will admit that I am pretty biased. (I do not have any experience with any other Otter Series, other than the Defender Series). ... show more
