I replace my case about every year and a half but if you don’t use the fingerprint and use the code instead this case will last longer than the phone. Good feel because of the rubber surface. No I don’t think that it’s bulky with it being a defender, because it still fits in my back pocket slides in and out very easily and if it’s good in my small Crossbody purse. Love the color, it’s easy to spot my phone across the room. I have already dropped my new phone and this case has held up because I haven’t had any nicks or cracks. After having dropped my phone and cracked the screen saver for the third time I decided to replace my cheap case and Otterbox was the way to go. Item was packaged in original manufacturers box and sealed in cellophane. Very sturdy and top quality. I had to go online to figure out how to separate the pieces. I like the case much better than my older brand. My phone had slipped out of my shirt pocket and fell on a rock, breaking both the screen cover glass and the old case. Although both were destroyed, my phone was not damaged. Great job by the old case, but this was not the first time my phone had slipped out of my pocket. This new case is thicker and more gripping and stays in my pocket a lot better. However, I had already installed a new cover glass on my phone and that caused a really tight fit into this new case. Worse still was the plastic screen cover on the case interfered with touch controls. I had to remove the plastic screen cover from the case to solve the touch controls issue. I am now happy with this new case even though I destroyed its water resistance. I particularly like the holster, which keeps my phone out of my pocket. ... show more

I should’ve bought this type of case from the beginning. I always knew OtterBox was the only way to go, but they are usually so expensive that I decided to buy a cheap version. that cheap version kept breaking on me every time I dropped the phone it would come apart. and the one that I bought before that wasn’t anywhere near protective except for from scratches. this case is so great. I love the texture it doesn’t feel like it’s gonna just slip out of my hands like most phones. I have the little holster too now and it completely covers the phone it still works with my other screen protector underneath as well, and the fingerprint still works. this case actually feels like it is protecting my phone Worth the dollars although I did get it on discount. Update: after quite a few months, it still is holding up pretty good and I drop my phone so many times because I have issues with my hands but the only thing I must say is I don’t understand the screen protector they don’t have a portion covering the earpiece and camera so I keep getting a little tiny bit of dust underneath the screen protector so I have to takeoff the whole case every once a while and wipe it down It’s kind of weird that they would make it that way, but other than that I really like the phone I just hope it keeps working because I keep dropping the phone. ... show more
