I love that it provides serious protection without adding too much bulk to my phone. The screenless design is a big plus for me. It works perfectly with my own glass screen protector and doesn’t interfere with touch sensitivity at all. This is the only phone case my husband will use, and honestly, I get why. It’s not sleek or stylish, but if you care more about keeping your phone safe than how it looks, this case is a winner. He’s not exactly gentle with his phone — it’s been dropped, knocked around, and even tossed a few times — and this case has saved it every time. It’s easy to put on, fits snugly, and has a grippy texture so it doesn’t slip out of your hand. It does come with a belt clip, which we’ve never used and probably never will — feels like an extra part just taking up space. The trade-off is the bulk. It’s definitely bigger and heavier than most cases, but that’s the price you pay for protection. It also doesn’t win any style points, but my husband couldn’t care less about that. His last one lasted a solid two years before it finally wore out, which feels like a good run considering how rough he is on his stuff. We didn’t hesitate to buy the same one again. The case is a good, solid fit, but it doesn't work with lens protectors designed for the iPhone. Otter Box still has the same issue with the phone staying snapped in the holster. Just what I needed. I bought the same case from a big box store 2 years ago and it was falling apart. Needed a fresh case so I got this one again. Case is good and sturdy and seems more textured my old one. Feels way better in my hands.

I’m a case fanatic and switched to Encased but they have broken 4 times. I saw this combo and then saw it $10 cheaper as used, great condition. Haven’t been a fan of Otterbox because they are to thick and wireless charging is an issue. I was wrong with this one. Came in an Otterbox reconditioned box and it’s perfect, like new. The 2 pics are of 2 tiny marks and that’s it. Outter shell is perfect and the wireless charger WORKS. This is a really nice case, strong , solid very nice in the hand and not slippery. I enjoyed the years of my very soft Otterbox. I switched to a smaller more slick one. I spend a lot of time traveling to hike. I found this defender to be slim but it doesn’t slide and slip all over. Yet slim enough to fit in my pockets.
