We bought 2 Otsun chairs for our pool deck so we can sit out back and bird watch. My husband is a big guy, 6'3" 350 lbs and we needed something well built and wide enough for him to be comfortable. Otsun did not disappoint. The Polywood chairs are perfect for our needs and they are maintenance free and will be around for many years to come. They are nice and heavy so no need to bring them Inside during storms. These chairs are not going anywhere. One of my chairs was damaged in transport and Otsun customer service went above and beyond to satisfy my needs and to also followed up to make sure I was satisfied. If your looking for a balcony chair you can easily whip around and pick up from place to place, this chair is probably not for you. Heavy solid . The stainless steel screws are also heavy duty. The enclosed Allen wrench is OK…. But found my t handle Allen wrench made to much easier and faster. The Directions are absolute junk….however if you have ever put together a Barbie house or a play kitchen on Christmas Eve, you will make it through just fine…..well worth the money…..

Love these chairs!! We had never worked with this material before and had trouble at the beginning putting them together. We emailed support and they emailed back a video and better instructions within a half an hour. Great customer service!! Once we saw the video, it was a breeze putting them together! They are really good quality and very comfortable. We’re very happily with them!

The setup is a little tricky. The packaging looks like it got thrown off several trucks before it arrives, and I ordered two chairs at different times, so it's not a one-off issue. The chairs themselves are rather comfortable and sturdy but could use pads on the feet. Otherwise, on a concrete surface, the feet grind down within the first few moves. Where this product fails is the screws that are sent to hold it together. They are just not good enough to hold. The first time, I thought maybe I didn’t screw everything in completely tightly, although I thought I had double-checked. Over time, it becomes obvious that the screws wiggle out of the plastic. I ended up buying slightly thicker, longer screws and using plastic epoxy, and for now, that seems to hold. However, if you’re buying these for security, as I did for a parent who had a full hip replacement, screws popping out do not instill confidence.

The front of the gray seat has some lighter colors showing thru right out of the box. I didn’t realize how much til I got the chair assembled and put out in sunlight. Too heavy and too much work into disassembly to merit a return and/or replacement. (There’s a reason these are less expensive than others). This is second chair purchased, first one had no issues. I certainly won’t buy more now. I’d rate this particular purchase a 1-star, but knowing the first one is in better condition, giving a 2 star rating here.

Took about a half hour to put together. Very sturdy and heavy. Purchased a similar chair from a garden center for $600 and this chair was just about the same quality.
