I'm very happy with my purchase on these chairs. I bought four of the Navy ones a Monday, they were delivered the following Wednesday, so shipping was quick. I honestly thought that I have to put together every single piece, but the full back and the full seat was already put together. You just had to put together the arms and attach the arms and the stretchers to the seat and the back. It goes much faster if you have a drill or cordless drill with the right bit. The four chairs took maybe an hour to put together, with the first one going a little bit slower because I was reading the directions. If you look at the pictures, and the written directions on the back of the instructions, it's pretty clear what you need to do. My only mistake was putting together the arms of the first one with the surface down on my driveway, and I scratch them a bit. Doing it on a piece of the cardboard on subsequent chairs provided a much better work surface. These are nice and heavy and I have no doubts that last us for many years. ... show more

I LOVE this chair! I am short (5ft, 3 inch) and find a traditional Adirondack chair is impossible for me to get in and out of easily as it has such a deep seat width, and such an angle that I slide all the way down, and then struggle to get my legs where I can get up from the chair. NOT THIS ONE! The seat depth is 31 inches - about the depth of a normal tablechair! It also sits a little higher, with a more shallow angle, which makes it very comfortable to sit in, and get in and out of without any struggle! ... show more

My first impression after building these is that they are very sturdy and will last for many years. Love the color. My only negative comment at this point is that the assembly instructions have a really bad error. It suggests that you should use the short screws to affix the chair back to the seat, and to use the long screws for the connector railings. It's completely the reverse. If you follow the instructions, I'm concerned that the chair could suddenly come apart and cause injury. (I hope people are realizing this, and not following the directions literally.) ... show more

I had to watch a video to get the chair assembled due to the picture diagram of instructions. The company was very kind to offer further instructions and assembly proved quick. My husband is 6'4 and weighs 220. The chair is able to support his weight without any buckling or wobbling. In addition, the color is a deep rich black able to blend in with any decor. My husband had been wanting one of these Chairs for sooo long. Gave it to him Saturday for his Birthday. I finally found the right color to match the rest of our Patio set here at the Office.! This Color had been really hard to find. We wanted something that could be outside in the Weather since we get alot of rain but that would also stand up to the Sun. What's awesome about it ??? He spilled his Birthday Beer... But, since it Isnt made of fabric we were able to spray it off with the Hose ! Not being Metal or Woodvwe don't have to worry about rust or deterioration.
