The tea infuser works well enough, good flow, some tea leaves escape. The seal is good. It seems pretty durable so far! The mug itself spread heat through out the entire mug so strongly, even into the handle, that it cannot be used for tea. So don't do that! It's a cute mug though. Cheers!

This tea infuser is adorable and well made. It feels like good-quality silicone, not cheap at all. Filling it can be a little awkward, and depending on the mug size, the tail clip doesn’t always sit perfectly. Still, it’s a detail more than a flaw. Overall, it’s a great product from Ototo. I love this brand and have several of their items—they’re always creative and high quality.

this is a delightful little tea strainer that can easily be removed from hot liquid without burning yourself, as the material doesn't conduct heat. There's enough space for smaller leaves (like mint or most black teas) but you'd probably want a different strainer with a larger basket for larger leaf teas. It closes well and doesn't come open. The design is adorable without being twee. This is a great idea for a white elephant gift or stocking stuffers. My spouse loved it.
