Really had some creases in the fabric when I got it in an Amazon soft envelope. Probably had piles of other products sitting on it before it got to me. Layed it out like it said. Not much help. Took my wife’s steam iron and went full steam on it. Beautiful. Looked like when it was made. Used some 3M headliner and fabric adhesive to apply it to my headliner backing. I give the finished job a solid 8, maybe a 9. Not bad for a DIY.

First problem is the item arrived folded, so I had to hang it up in my garage for about a week to try and get the wrinkles from being fold out of it. They came out enough to install... but the material feels a bit too heavy and doesn't feel like a headline material in most cars. It felt thicker and was difficult to get to lay on the headliner backing. It would probably work well if you have a very simple headliner, but in a truck that has two deep wells it was very difficult to get it to lay properly. If I could do it over I would have looked for a lighter weight headliner material so it would be easier to get into the complex curves.

I’ve ordered this product twice now for my vehicles. I would rate five stars due to the aesthetics and good quality of the material vs the price point, but there are a couple of draw backs here. Both I think could be due to the shipping method- the liners are roll folded and and one liner I ordered had stuck to itself along the edges (edge to edge). The edges sticking weren’t a problem as that area gets cutoff or tucked anyways, but the material being folded causes wrinkles/creases in the material that are difficult to get out. With shipping, these could be rolled over cardboard to prevent this and I’m sure these get crammed in an Amazon van etc causing this to be worse. Anyways, I laid them in the sun for a while and it helped but didn’t completely remove the wrinkles. With that said, if the shipping could be modified to prevent this, I’d rate 5 stars. I recommend this product. Also, I used exactly one can of permatex high temp headliner glue to apply my headliner.

I like this material but I ordered many yards and it came, not on a roll, but folded up in a box leaving many cresses and lines. had to stand there for hours with a heat gun on all the cresses and lines but it seems to work. use low heat or maybe iron it with a cover on it may work. Should've come on a roll to better protect the fabric and make it much less labor intensive to use. otherwise it is pretty easy to use once smoothed out. Good product overall so far. have many more pieces to cover and not looking forward to all the heat gunning or ironing I have to do. Please put it on a roll!
