In 2010 I was diagnosed with bursitis in my right knee. The pain would be so intense I would end up on the floor incapacitated. The Dr wanted to inject my knew with Cortisone. I asked if this would heal me and was told it would just relieve the pain for about six months at which time I would likely need another injection. A friend recommended Osteo Biflex. Within 2 months the pain was completely gone. I tried other brands with the same ingredients and the pain came back. Not sure what this company is doing, but their formula works for me. 10 years later I still take this daily (it's also nice that they add vitamin D). If I stop taking this for more than a week I start to feel it in my joints. I'm now 44 and will likely choose to take these for years to come. Are the pills large? Yes. But the results are worth it. And if you buy them on Amazon you get a 2 month supply for 15-16 dollars. (don't pay full price ever). Walmart also tends to carry them at a reduced price. **if you have severe joint damage this will not magically heal you. It's a joint lubricant. It will resolve minor joint issues a prevent future damage from lack of lubrication. But damage already done will likely require medical assistance. But I highly encourage anyone who is taking Cortisone injections or has been recommended to do so, give this a try first. ... show more

    • Feel Stronger and Fingernails Sturdier! Great for People who Work Out & have Physical Work.
I highly recommend this to people who work out or have heavy physical work or anyone who has a lot of muscle pain or get tired very easily through work. This supplement contains Glucosamine which I am very happy for. Here are some pros and cons I have found for this product: Pros: Joint Health- I have drastically experienced less joint pain. Mobility- Stamina had been a big issue, and will become a bigger one through age. This really improved my stamina and I feel that I can do more physical activities without getting tired. Cons: Hard to Swallow- These pills are not small pills. They are hard to swallow-- 1/4 bigger than a penny. Would not recommend for people who are sensitive with pill size. Contains Shellfish- This was expected. After doing research, many glucosamine supplements come from Shellfish. If people have any allergies regarding Shellfish (personally I do not have one) this is not recommended. ... show more

    • I doubted but it works.
I've had severe knee issues for 20 years and I find as I'm getting older other joints are starting to naturally break down (wrist, hip, shoulder, back, etc). When bad weather approaches I can barely walk. I figured there was nothing to lose trying a supplement for some relief. I am so thankful I gave osteo bi-flex a chance. On the package it states it can take upward of 7 days to notice results but by day 3 my knee pain was so relieved I felt ten years younger. Bad weather isn't nearly as debilitating! I stopped taking the insane amount of ibroprofen that was giving me an ulcer. Still not 100% convinced I stopped taking it for a week after the bottle ran out and sure enough my knees were screaming at me just like before. I immediately ordered 2 more bottles and once again after a few days back on my knees were much happier. I am not a doctor, this is not medical advice but I can state that at least in my case it worked wonderfully. Due to complex and individual issues it may not work for you but I will be taking these supplements for as long as I am able. ... show more

This product seems to work great if you can swallow the gigantic pill. Even when I cut it in half, I could feel the jagged edge. Really don't want to purchase again.
