Was driving on a highway caught in a night storm and it was as if I had a flashlight for headlights. That I didn't smack into a divider was a miracle. In some places the road surface was just blackness. No my headlights weren't off. For a while I thought maybe something was wrong with my eyes. Well I replaced the bulbs and what a difference! The old bulbs were actually cloudy. These new bulbs are so bright I thought there was a car beside me. I even thought they were misaligned. Nope. The old bulbs were THAT BAD. If you have a car with many hours on it, particularly with auto-on lights that run most of the time, you probably need these. ... show more

These are a vast improvement over the 7 year old bulbs I replaced in my MINI R61. They are very bright, and both shine the same color. I only wish they were a more cool white. I didn't want blueish lights so I went with these. They are a very warm white, I can see very well now, and they are intense without exhausting my eyes at night. As for price, Amazon has the lowest on these though still too expensive, and they are authentic. If these don't work at this level, for a minimum of 5 years, I doubt I'll drop the money to replace them. ... show more

My bulb in my BMW 4 series went out. Bought these as a replacement. They work good and are maybe marginally brighter than OEM, but you really can’t notice it much. I recommend them as replacements if your OEM burns out, definitely not if your OEM lights are fine and you just want brighter bulbs. Idk if some of these negative reviewers thought their headlights were going to turn into the sun or something. Bulbs can only get so bright. ... show more

    • Different brightness from one bulb to the other
After paying to have these installed on my bmw I noticed the one bulb is way brighter than the other on and I put these on a brand new bmw so I know it’s not my vehicle. It’s not like you just have these bulbs removed and return and try and get a better pair either because that’s extremely expensive. I wouldn’t buy these bulbs again or recommend them at all unless they were to make it right somehow for this defective product. It could be I just got a bad set.     • Same as OEM at 1/4 the cost
My Jeep dealer wanted $300 per bulb and 1 and 1/2 hours per bulb to install. That is about $500 per bulb. What? I purchased these Osrams and was surprised to see that they are the same brand that came in my Grand Cherokee as OEM although these are a newer and brighter model of the original bulb. It took me 30 minutes to replace both bulbs. I had no idea how dim my old bulbs had become. I won't wait so long to replace them the next time! Shame on the dealer for price gouging! ... show more
