More light allows the rider to see further and thus react sooner. It also has a beam of light with a length of up to 250 m and offers up to 20% whiter light (compared to the legal minimum requirements). I purchased an Audi that someone thought “blue lights” would be a pretty cool look. Hint - they were not. At all. They were shoddy 10000k “big blue box store” bargain bulbs that shed as much light as the their value permitted. The stock halogen fog lamps provided more visibility of the road. It was time for something better. Brighter, and in the right color spectrum to actually SEE the road. The Osrams met the need perfectly. Burning at a visible 4200k whiter shade, the road was suddenly visible. Night driving felt safer, and the overall look of the beam was significantly better. While having a steeper sticker price, I feel I got the best value for my investment. If you’re looking for some decent Xenon bulbs, I’d highly recommend these Osrams, especially if you’re driving in a region where the weather isn’t always clear.

Bought Them Again for My Second Car

Pair of new upgraded bulbs for less than dealer prices

I spent the extra money to upgrade to Night Breaker from the base model. The box had the QR code to scan and verify on the OSRAM website to help prevent counterfeit bulbs. Installed the new pair of bulbs and very happy with them. I cannot compare how bright the new base would be compared to old bulb but I'm happy with the purchase and don't regret upgrading from the base model

This dim nightmare has ended on a bright note!

Two years of problems with seized adjusters and technical issues and finally, new bulbs. Brighter and crisper and and I'm now a happy man! The old DS3's were badly oxidized around the inner glass and cast a horrible image making it nearly impossible to align the bulbs. These are terrific, so much brighter and I can confidently drive at night.
