I got this bag for just one pair of skis and it works very well for that purpose. The bag feels very high quality with thick water resistant fabric that gives me confidence it will hold up through winter travel. One of the features I really appreciate is that the bag can be rolled down to fit the exact length of my skis, which helps keep the load tighter and easier to handle. The inside is padded and includes straps that hold my skis and poles securely in place so they do not shift during transport. For someone like me who only packs a single set, the size and protection feel just right without being overly bulky. The oversized wheels are pretty large and they roll smoothly on pavement and really compacted snow, but I found that in softer or uneven snow it is easier to just carry the bag by the handles. The wheels are sturdy though and handle airport and parking lot surfaces without issue. The zippers feel heavy duty and move cleanly without catching, and the handles are padded enough that carrying does not feel rough on the hands. After using it on a few trips I feel like it strikes a good balance between protection, portability, and durability. For my needs it has made ski travel a lot more manageable and I can see this lasting many seasons. ... show more

The 1 star deduction is not because this item is bad. I want to be truthful with my usage. Because I received this item in the summer, it's impossible for me to give a full account of how it works in its intended purpose. I have not gone to the slopes and tested this out in its full splendor. However, I have tested it out around my house. The side straps are great, because it provides support to the bag. Many bags droop onto the board or ski and fully rely on its structure on the items inside. With these side straps, I think it provides more structure to the bag and makes it not only easier to carry around, but also allow you to put a few extra things inside. I've stored some of my extra winter gear in there too. The wheels are always nice, not having to carry the bag always on your back or over your shoulder. I'll see later how they do on rougher terrain. Lastly, I like that even though it has wheels and kind of acts like a harder case, it's still very pliable and bendable so you can fold this up and store it. ... show more

TLDR: Very large bag made to be durable for travel! The blue colors of this bag are really really beautiful and the material is super nice. This is pretty expensive but you are honestly paying for great quality that should last you a long, long time! This bag will be large enough for most skis, as it really is absolutely huge. Maybe too big for small skis like kids skis unless you are bringing more than one pair. The funny thing is we plan to use this for other things while traveling, such as to carry a few items for camping or other trips. I am not sure what will fit best since it is such a long bag, but it’s so nice I want to make it work for more things! The straps for compression inside are nice, and the entire bag closes so well it’s almost hard to get into but that’s great so you don’t lose anything. I love that you can also fold this down so that you can store it better or use it for less things. The wheels are sturdy, as is the whole bag. It does get heavy but that is expected. Really nice bag that I feel is definitely worth the buy! ... show more
