  • Great For A Run
I love this hip-pack. It worked wonders on my short trail runs. I highly recommend this for any runner. It Fits just about everything you'll need on your run.

  • Updated Review after 2 years of use: Great Concept with Some Flaws
I wanted a minimalist belt pack to hold my keys and phone while running so that they don't bounce around in my pocket. Since I bought this, I've run about 2000 miles using this waistbelt. The main pocket will hold my keys and a small wallet. On longer runs, I put my key in my shorts pocket and fill the belt pocket with GU gels (it will hold at least 4 for my 20+ mile runs). The water bottle holster works very well, and the water bottle is easy to grab, use and replace. However, I did drop it on a run and a plastic piece broke off. I superglued it back together and now it works fine again. The phone pocket has fit my Pixel 4 and my Pixel 5a. The 5a is a tight fit, but I can get it in there even with an audio cable for ear buds. The belt tightens comfortably even for long runs and your contents wont bounce around. The belt has an elastic section so that you can tighten it without over tightening or having it cut into your skin. You set the length how you want it, and it stays pretty much the same. Just buckle it and run. After 2 years of use, I've noticed a couple issues that caused me lower my rating from 5 to 4. First, the velcro that holds the phone in its pocket is extremely strong. It can be tough getting your phone out. If you try to do it while running, you may need to undo the belt to get your phone back in. And because it's so strong, threads that hold the velcro strap in place are fraying. Second, the zipper that closes the main pocket became gummed up and eventually broke off. It's not stuck at half open. the pocket still works just fine, since the phone pocket covers the main pocket, so the contents of the main pocket aren't going to go anywhere. I've come to expect a lot from Osprey, so I'm a little disappointed by this. However, even after 2000 miles and 2 years of use, it still works. Osprey will probably fix these issues under their "Almighty Guarantee" but that means I'd be without it while they have it. I may get a replacement for it first, then send it in for repairs. ... show more

  • Comfortable
Color: Alpine Black
Second time using it for marathon. I like it.

  • The pockets are crazy small, but it's super comfortable
As other reviews have noted, the pockets on this thing are almost a joke. Not much more space than your car key. I have a medium sized phone (an old LG G6), and it doesn't fit without forcing it into the pouch. That's the only downside, though. I use my arm band for my phone, and I may have a seamstress add a larger pouch to this for me because I really like how it fits. The elastic waistband is wide and comfortable. The pack sits well on my hips and doesn't bounce around too much. The water bottle is plenty big for shorter runs; I carry a pack when I'm pounding out double digit mileage. I am a typical square-hipped 5'11" male, so I can't say how this fits on curvier hips. For the price, I think this is a good deal as long as it holds up over time. ... show more

  • Well made, but limited
Color: Alpine Black
I bought this to replace a cheap neoprene running belt I had been using, and I had a few wishes for the upgrade. 1. I wanted space for a water bottle if I don’t take my hydration pack. 2. I wanted upgraded storage Pro: this belt is well, looks great, I like the way the belt adjusts, and it stays put where I set it. The water bottle pocket and retaining strap are perfect- not too big, very secure, no bouncing around when I run. Con: the electronics storage on the outside and small zipper pocket inside lay flat and are too small to hold my iPhone 11 Pro Max comfortably. I have to put it into the zipper pocket at an angle and stretch the material around the corners. While this is my work around, I do not get to take advantage of the see through touch sensitive screen on the electronics pocket, and it makes phone access kind of a hassle. Summary: great product for a sleek minimal-ish running belt for water and smaller phones. Caution for those of you who have a large cell phones- you may have issues. ... show more

  • Great idea, not the best design.
This thing is super functional and fits a need in my running life that can't quite be hit by my running vest, but definitely exists due to the heat of where I live and my want to have my phone/keys. The problem here is that with my iPhone 11 max I can barely get it inside of this. I have to remove the protective cover on it to get it inside, and then getting it back to change music or settings is kind of a process. Also, don't run shirtless with this, as it rubbed some pretty gnarly spots into my skin. An updated design with some versatility on storage and maybe something for direct skin contact would make this a five-star for me. ... show more

  • Carries oddly around hip, phone area small
I write this as big Osprey fan, but this is my least favorite Osprey product. I'm using it for day hiking, not running. Getting the water bottle (included) in and out is fine, a problem with some packs. The water bottle itself is perfect size for my walks (5-8 miles). The area for the phone is a bit small. I'm using a Galaxy 10e. It fits easily if you put it in a certain way. I sometimes use a headphone amp, and that also fits in, but with some coaxing. Using the phone while on your hip is not great. I cannot twist around enough to see the screen, so I need to swivel the belt around my hip. When tight, this is not easy, so I usually loosen the belt. Now re tightening the belt isn't really as easy as it should be. You need to pull on the loop and then push down the lever to fix it in place. With part of the belt being elastic, I find that I need to overtighten. Why not just use regular straps? Once in place it does tend to slip down some, requiring tightening, especially when the water bottle is full. Maybe it fits better while running. ... show more
