  • Good quality, worth the money.
Color: Black
Really like this backpack. The design is very smart. You can slide it over your carry-on luggage handle, which makes airport travel super easy, or just wear it comfortably on your back. The straps feel solid and well balanced. The zippers are high quality and smooth, and I really like the locking mechanisms — feels secure, especially when traveling. It’s very practical inside. Plenty of space for a laptop, chargers, documents, clothes, and all the other stuff you end up carrying. The expandable feature is a big plus when you need extra room. Overall, great build quality, comfortable, and perfect for travel. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Best purchase ever for my travels. This bag is a game changer.
Color: Black
I purchased this for a 12 day overseas journey, and I’m so glad I did. The bag held all my essentials for the journey there - including clothing for a day (in case my other suitcase got lost), my liquids/meds, personal items, kindle, folders of info of reservations, and some other items. I love that it opens up as a regular suitcase, making it easier to pack so things don’t get buried. A TSA agent in the US and overseas needed to open my bag and both commented how cool that was to easily access things in the bag. I also love that it has an easy access zipper in the back of the bag (which made it easy to access my liquids and kindle to get through security). I will use this bag for overseas adventures in the future and for shorter domestic travel trips. I could easily use this for a 3 day journey and not have to carry any other bag, if I packed lightly and smartly. The quality of the bag is great, and I loved that it expands. This bag fit very nicely under the airplane seat and overhead in the storage bins. The front pockets on the bag were also great - especially the key holder which I used to attach an Apple AirTag to. If you make short or long trips, this is THE BAG to get for your carry-on/personal item. If you are strategic in packing and take this bag and a small suitcase (for longer trips) you can travel lightly and not have to check any bags! I would highly recommend this bag! ... show more

  • Great quality travel backpack, 10/10 value at $65
Color: Blue Spikemoss/Alkaline
UPDATE: Great travel backpack. Used it for a short, overnight trip. It can hold a lot more than you may think. I love that I can expand it if need be. Comfortable straps. Easier to carry than a duffel. Looking forward to getting a lot of use out of this. Excellent quality with a slightly rugged look but premium feel. Some people (mostly women) have complained about the straps being uncomfortable for petite shoulders. As a fairly petite woman, I don’t ever plan to use this as a daily carry or anything. So I’m not gonna be wearing it for long stretches. I will always take a separate packable bag for such use. ORIGINAL: Wow! 5/5 out of the box. Scored mine for $65. It was the only color at that price for whatever reason. Color is not a priority for me; it doesn’t affect its functionality. Haven’t used it yet, but it’s made with great quality materials and it’s the perfect size for up to a week of travel I’d say. Five days or less would probably be ideal though. I plan to use it for an overnight trip coming up. I like that the company seemingly listened to the masses and subtracted one of the pen/pencil pockets. Three was too many, and now one of the side sleeves is larger allowing more room for something like a passport. Nice modification from Osprey. Truthfully, this is probably the nicest backpack I’ve ever owned; it’s the only travel-specific one I’ve ever purchased. I do own a very nice Osprey hiking/backpacking pack, but that’s a whole different thing with different use cases. I’ve liked Osprey since, and I’ve wanted one of their travel backpacks for a while. Their quality and lifetime guarantee are unmatched. I like the clamshell opening of the main compartment on the 26+6. Very little in the way of organization, but I knew that before ordering. I may use packing cubes to solve this issue. The one compression strap in the main compartment doesn’t make a ton of sense to me; there should really be two or the one strap should run perpendicularly instead of horizontally to really be effective. I don’t have much else to say since I haven’t gotten proper use out of it yet. I’m very pleased with it upfront though. I’ll update my review after putting some miles on it. ... show more

  • So very comfortable
Color: Black
I originally bought the Osprey Daylite 26+6 as my personal item for an international flight. Somewhere over the last 4–5 months, it quietly earned a promotion. Then another. And another. At this point, it’s my work bag, overnight bag, weekend bag, road trip bag, and soon-to-be travel bag. First impressions were excellent. The materials feel durable without being stiff, the zippers are smooth and satisfying, and the overall layout just makes sense. Nothing about it feels like someone added pockets simply because they could. The expansion zipper is also brilliant. Every time I find myself thinking, “I wish this was just a little bigger,” I remember it literally has an expansion zipper, and suddenly my problem disappears. What has impressed me the most is how ridiculously forgiving this bag is. I have absolutely abused it. I’ve packed it with a 16-inch laptop, iPad Pro, Kindle, full-size external keyboard, Nintendo Switch, clothes, water bottle, tech pouch, liquids pouch, essentials pouch, snacks, and yes…1.75 liters of a certain distilled spirit. (Don’t judge me. The bag certainly didn’t.) Every single time I think, “Okay, this is finally too much. My shoulders are going to regret this,” they don’t. The harness is genuinely comfortable, and the weight carries much better than I expect. The clamshell opening deserves its own mention because I use it constantly. Sometimes I want to pack it like a traditional backpack. Other times I want it to open like a suitcase. Having both options has been far more useful than I expected. The interior mesh pocket is one of those little features I didn’t think I’d care about until I started using it. Now I use it all the time. The biggest surprise has been the durability. Despite stuffing it, overpacking it, dragging it to work, taking it on weekend trips, and generally treating it like it owes me money, it still looks nearly brand new. No loose stitching, no zipper issues, and no signs that it’s unhappy with my life choices. It’s not perfect. The water bottle pockets could use a little more stretch. Because of that, I usually keep my bottle inside the main compartment instead. I also wish the bag stood up on its own a little better. Mine has a habit of politely face-planting whenever I set it down. The admin pocket could be improved as well. The pen slots are so narrow that I rarely find them useful, and I’d rather have a little more flexible organization than several tiny sleeves I don’t use. My only other nitpick is aesthetic. Functionally, this bag is outstanding. Visually, it leans more toward “I’m heading out for a weekend hike” than “I’m walking into a board meeting.” That’s not necessarily a bad thing; it’s just something to know if you’re looking for a more polished business backpack. I also wish the key clip inside the front pocket were metal instead of plastic. It works, but a metal clip would feel more in line with the quality of the rest of the bag. Overall, this is one of those rare purchases that has become more impressive the longer I’ve owned it. I bought it for one very specific purpose, and instead it became the bag I reach for almost every day. Apparently the limit of this backpack is significantly higher than the limit of my common sense when packing. ... show more

Color: Night Shift Blue
Love the Osprey Daylight Expandable 26+6 Travel Pack. Great size and I like the clamshell opening for ease of packing. . Also like the many zippered & water bottle compartments, the sleeve that unzips to slide the pack down my rolling carryon’s telescopic handle, and the backpack functionality. • Nice backpack with one concern
Color: Night Shift Blue
Nice backpack, looks like a solid travel option but I returned it as it had a prop 65 label on it, not sure which parts of the backpack required the warning but didn’t want clothes etc coming into contact with it..might have just been a zipper or metal somewhere that might not be a concern but idk. Looking for another option. ... show more

  • New Favorite "Everything" Pack!
Color: Black
This pack is super versatile, comfortable and built to last. Just used it as a personal item and catch all for 2.5 weeks in Europe and love the "suitcase style" opening for full and easy access and simplified organization. Just enough extra pockets for easy access to important and daily use items. Capacity is excellent and fit, comfort and versatility are great as typically expected from Osprey. This pack has just replaced all of my other short trip bags and backpacks. ... show more

  • Perfect 2-in-1 Travel Bag for Day Trips and Overnights - Used in Japan for Both
Color: Night Shift Blue
This backpack completely won me over. I bought it for a trip to Japan where we needed to forward our luggage several times and carry an overnight bag for one to two nights. I needed something that could hold everything without being too bulky on crowded transit, and this bag delivered. The expandable design is the standout feature. I was able to switch it from an overnight bag to a daypack very easily. I kept a couple of reusable grocery bags inside, pulled out what I wanted to store in a locker or leave at the hotel, and used this for day trips around cities and on hikes. When it was time to move on, I packed everything back in without any hassle. The material and bag felt sturdy. I was able to fit two outfits, my electronics, and toiletries without a problem. The bag itself is lightweight, which matters when you are walking thousands of steps a day. It also has enough structure to feel supportive, along with padded shoulder straps and a chest strap that make it comfortable to wear. When fully expanded, it can feel a bit bulky in tight spaces. On crowded trains, I would wear it in front of me or place it between my feet. I had read that you should not put bags on the floor, but I noticed plenty of locals doing it I tried about six different bags before landing on this one. The others were cheaper and came close, but they were either too big to double as a daypack or not structured enough to be comfortable. I also loved the blue color. I wasn't sure if it would stain easily, so I sprayed it with protector before travel, and have had no problems so far. This is definitely coming with me on future trips. ... show more
