Good to the last pop! I'm using the popcorn with my Stir Crazy popper and almost every kernel pops. I've used some store brands trying to save a few bucks, but usually only get about 90-95% of the kernels to pop, and they pop smaller. Buying it in an 8 pound tub just about makes this even with the cost of the store brand kernels. My only complaint - 8 pounds can be heavy, really close to how much a gallon of milk weighs. Pouring directly from the container it comes in directly to the Stir Crazy is unreliable, pouring some into a smaller container can be quite messy - especially since popcorn kernels don't fit in most funnels, and none of my measuring cups fit into the opening without dropping half the cup back into the jar. If anyone has a perfect solution, I'm all ears! ... show more

This popcorn in my favorite snack, which is why I order this huge size. Keep it tightly capped, and it will stay fresh. Also, I put some of it in a smaller container so as not to keep opening the large one every time I make popcorn. Sometimes I use Mrs. Dash, but it is so good I just eat it without any butter or salt! Orville Redenbacher's Popcorn always has been my favorite popcorn. When I couldn’t get it at BJ’s warehouse anymore, I looked around and found it on Amazon. The first and second times I ordered (2021 and 2022) it it was for the 5 lb, 12 oz tub, at $9.29 each time. That size is now $17.99! Yes, it was a lot of money, but my daughter lived with me then, and she made popcorn for herself and for me frequently. When I went to reorder it for the 3rd time, 3/2023, a year from the last one, the price for the same size was outrageous! They wanted $32 something for the 5 pounds. So I looked around, and found this 8 pound tub for 13.23. That is .10 an ounce, where the 5.12 lb tub is now listed at .20 an ounce. Makes no sense. The plastic package they send it in is not air tight, so it might be useful to vacuum seal some of it. Or, when my son was in baseball, I made really good ice packs using popcorn. It doesn’t get sloppy and unusable like using a vegetable bag, it follows the shape of the injury better than an ice pack, and it’s reusable. You just want to put it in a ziplock bag, if you vacuum seal it, you won’t have enough room for it to shape itself. This is my wife's favorite so got here a very large one. Usually get at member club but not there so looked on Amazon and bought this bigger one. I use a silicone popcorn popper ( Amazon) and microwave until no more popping is heard and the results are fantastic. But best of all with collapsable silicone popper, clean up is only seconds, and stores flat . What a great concept . I have been a happy user of this brand from it was put on market. Tried many colors, varieties, etc, but end up coming back home to Orville's. IMHO it's the best . ... show more

Oreville just knows what’s up. They never leave those little sharp flaky things that get stuck in the back of your throat or in your teeth. I love this stuff. I’m a popcorn phonetic so I like to buy in large quantity like this too.

This popcorn is amazing. The plastic container is airtight and is always delivered fresh. I rely on hot air popcorn everyday as a healthy snack. This price is great and it's so convenient to have it delivered to my door. Great product at a great price.

I love this brand of popcorn and this is a great price for 8# of popcorn. I decided to start popping popcorn on the stovetop again instead of buying microwave popcorn like I usually do. This will be so much cheaper than microwave popcorn and to me it tastes better. I bought some butter flavored coconut oil to use in the popper and it came out great. All of the kernels popped and this is a good crisp popcorn. I’ll probably be eating it more often since this is a huge container . I will definitely buy this again when I found out. ... show more
