I tried this helmet on, and almost sent it back. It was very very tight. It was the same size as my original helmet, so it should have fit. I did not want to return this and have to wait for another, so I removed the "removable" snapped in padding (for your cheeks) in the helmet. It fit loosely then. I did not like the snaps left open, without the padding to cover them, so I removed the sponge from the "removable" padding, sewed the seam back closed and put them back in the helmet without the sponge. It fit perfect and the snaps did not scratch my cheeks. :) I loved the helmet and did this so I would not have to return it :) ... show more

This product came as it described. I have not officially worn it but I tried it on. It was very lightweight, and the cushion inside was very comfortable. I got one size bigger and I am glad that I did. If I would've gotten my actual size, the helmet would have been was too tight. But it fits perfectly one size bigger. ... show more

My 3.5 y/o likes it. Fits him reasonably well, but he gets sweaty as heck after he wears it. I'm confident that if he fell off his bike, his head & face would remain intact.

I was super excited for when this helmet came in bc we were leaving the next day for a 4 day family vacation to go four wheeling. The helmet fits a little loosely- I feel if I had gotten a medium it would have been too snug, so a large was just perfect. The cushioning is the most amazing thing and is super comfortable. Also the straps at the bottom have cushioning on them as well! My family are big O'Neil helmet fans, and I have them converted and purchasing these also bc of how lightweight and not bulky they are. ... show more

My 6 year old loves to ride his bike and has become interested in riding bmx. He is on the smaller side and this helmet is nice and snug but not too tight. There is great padding in the inside that can be taken out and washed. I feel it will keep my daredevil safe while he’s out riding!
