After reading a bunch of reviews off of Amazon, I finally decided on this Orolay coat. I needed a practical, everyday coat for the cold and often gusty days in Ohio when I’m out walking our dogs. This one was rated quite well and I liked that it had the double zipper, was longer in length, and had a hood that didn’t have any fake fur on it. Though I like the look of those types of hoods, I’ve found that they start to look matted and gross after a while and washing it doesn’t help. So I opted for this one. If you read several of the reviews posted on here, many people said to size up and I will say that it’s true. Size up if you don’t have very skinny arms or are on the bustier side. I’m normally a medium, but I got a large instead. The arms are definitely designed more snug fitting and the hand warmers are too. Other than that advice, I’d say go for it. I’m super short so the coat hits me almost to the knees, but it’s great because it blocks out a lot of the wind and you stay nice and warm. In spite of the warmth, it’s very lightweight, doesn’t appear bulky, and figure flattering. I love how you can unzip the bottom while sitting! It makes the coat very comfortable while driving. I read many reviews that said sometimes the down inside may smell. There was zero odor when I opened it and none since. I don’t feel any feathers poking me either. It is definitely wrinkled when you first take it out of the packaging, but fluffs up nicely once you open it up and air it out a bit. I have yet to wash it so that’ll be a test to be seen, but otherwise I say go for it. It seems like a very well made coat. I got it on the Black Friday deal for under $100, and I think it’ll end up being worth every penny.

This is an amazing quality jacket! Perfect for chilly winter days and surprisingly light weight. I’ve had winter coats that are so heavy and this one is not, yet keeps me just as warm. I’ve been wearing in cold temperatures (15-30 degrees) and it has been amazing. Keeps my body warm and protected from the wind. It’s super functional and cute too. The way the zipper and hood are designed is literally perfect for me and also keeps me dry in drizzle and the wet kind of snow which I definitely appreciate. I also like the thumb holes, but it can be a bit of an adjustment when adding gloves on top of it. Overall, a great find and the quality seems to hold up! Would definitely recommend! I had the experience where sizing up was too much. I am typically a size small and originally got a medium that was just too big for me. Returned and got a small and it’s perfect! I can still have some layers on and have comfort.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this coat. I wanted something lightweight yet still warm for Boston winters, and this coat delivered. The good: - Lightweight yet still warm. - Flattering fit. I love how the hood is not attached to the zipper so that the collar stands up even if you do not have it zipped all the way. The length of the coat is also nice. Cute button detail in the back. I also want to comment on the thumb hole detail- others have found this annoying but I liked this detail. It is tight, but not annoyingly so. I think it is functional, particularly if your goal is to stay warm. I also had no problem just bypassing the thumb hole and wearing it around my wrist. I guess it would be annoying if you had a watch that needed to be accessible, but this was not an issue for me. - Color. I tried the Gray/Medium and then the Cream/Large. I liked both colors a lot. The bad: - Sizing. I am 5'5" and 150lbs (size M, 6/8), and originally ordered my usual size Medium. It fit, and was very cute, but the shoulders were really tight so I worried about adding layers. So I tried sizing up to a Large, and it was HUGE. I am so bummed, because otherwise the coat is exactly what I'm looking for. So overall, I highly recommend, but sadly not if you're broad shouldered!

I received a coat with a broken zipper and the company reached out to me right away. I was able to get a new coat without any issues. The coat itself is warmer than it looks and I love that it covers my butt without being bulky all the way around. I wore it outside in 30 degree weather for several hours and was plenty warm. I also was concerned that the sleeves would drive me crazy with the attached hand covers but I actually find it really nice and my hand slides right in. I am 5’4 about 120lbs and ordered a small. It fit perfect with room for a sweater underneath.

So close to a really really nice coat. The aesthetic is on point- it's so cute! The arms are a little short and tight but the body is perfect. I don't have particularly large or long arms? It was so cute that I opted to keep it anyway. I ping pong back and forth bw regretting this and not. It's so cute and warm but it's just not cut right.

I’ve been looking for a warm down coat for a while, and this coat is perfect! Currently wearing it in Chicago, 11* outside, and I’m toasty. I like that it’s roomier in the hips and rear, but not fluffy or extra. The fit is very nice, and flattering.

This is a high quality coat. It is extremely warm. There is a two-way zipper and four pockets. The cuffs with thumb holes are very tight. Overall, a very good purchase.
