After reading a bunch of reviews off of Amazon, I finally decided on this Orolay coat. I needed a practical, everyday coat for the cold and often gusty days in Ohio when I’m out walking our dogs. This one was rated quite well and I liked that it had the double zipper, was longer in length, and had a hood that didn’t have any fake fur on it. Though I like the look of those types of hoods, I’ve found that they start to look matted and gross after a while and washing it doesn’t help. So I opted for this one. If you read several of the reviews posted on here, many people said to size up and I will say that it’s true. Size up if you don’t have very skinny arms or are on the bustier side. I’m normally a medium, but I got a large instead. The arms are definitely designed more snug fitting and the hand warmers are too. Other than that advice, I’d say go for it. I’m super short so the coat hits me almost to the knees, but it’s great because it blocks out a lot of the wind and you stay nice and warm. In spite of the warmth, it’s very lightweight, doesn’t appear bulky, and figure flattering. I love how you can unzip the bottom while sitting! It makes the coat very comfortable while driving. I read many reviews that said sometimes the down inside may smell. There was zero odor when I opened it and none since. I don’t feel any feathers poking me either. It is definitely wrinkled when you first take it out of the packaging, but fluffs up nicely once you open it up and air it out a bit. I have yet to wash it so that’ll be a test to be seen, but otherwise I say go for it. It seems like a very well made coat. I got it on the Black Friday deal for under $100, and I think it’ll end up being worth every penny.

Needed a Warm coat to wear during my early morning 3-4 mile walks during this 20-30 degree cold, windy weather we’re experiencing in northwestern New Jersey this winter. This is the perfect coat! The description of the coat by the seller is accurate. The sizing is accurate. The Fit is Flattering. The two side zippered pockets are big enough to hold my 13 Pro Max iPhone. The sleeves have an attached thumb hole extension piece that you can choose to wear or not. The coat does not feel bulky, so sitting or driving with the coat on is comfortable specially with the two way zipper closure. All in all this coat is warm and has a flattering fit!

I was very pleasantly surprised by this coat. I wanted something lightweight yet still warm for Boston winters, and this coat delivered. The good: - Lightweight yet still warm. - Flattering fit. I love how the hood is not attached to the zipper so that the collar stands up even if you do not have it zipped all the way. The length of the coat is also nice. Cute button detail in the back. I also want to comment on the thumb hole detail- others have found this annoying but I liked this detail. It is tight, but not annoyingly so. I think it is functional, particularly if your goal is to stay warm. I also had no problem just bypassing the thumb hole and wearing it around my wrist. I guess it would be annoying if you had a watch that needed to be accessible, but this was not an issue for me. - Color. I tried the Gray/Medium and then the Cream/Large. I liked both colors a lot. The bad: - Sizing. I am 5'5" and 150lbs (size M, 6/8), and originally ordered my usual size Medium. It fit, and was very cute, but the shoulders were really tight so I worried about adding layers. So I tried sizing up to a Large, and it was HUGE. I am so bummed, because otherwise the coat is exactly what I'm looking for. So overall, I highly recommend, but sadly not if you're broad shouldered!

This is an amazing quality jacket! Perfect for chilly winter days and surprisingly light weight. I’ve had winter coats that are so heavy and this one is not, yet keeps me just as warm. I’ve been wearing in cold temperatures (15-30 degrees) and it has been amazing. Keeps my body warm and protected from the wind. It’s super functional and cute too. The way the zipper and hood are designed is literally perfect for me and also keeps me dry in drizzle and the wet kind of snow which I definitely appreciate. I also like the thumb holes, but it can be a bit of an adjustment when adding gloves on top of it. Overall, a great find and the quality seems to hold up! Would definitely recommend! I had the experience where sizing up was too much. I am typically a size small and originally got a medium that was just too big for me. Returned and got a small and it’s perfect! I can still have some layers on and have comfort.

I wear this to play with the dogs, go to the barn and do anything outside when it’s under 35-ish degrees. It is so warm - even when my husband is freezing, I’m totally comfy in this jacket. The length is perfect and it always looks clean (even when the horse wipes grain mush on it).

When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised with the look, style, fit, and warmth. However, I soon found out that I couldn't depend on the zipper to function properly. It malfunctioned everything I used it. I either couldn't get it up or apart. I sadly had to return it.

I purchased this coat last year during a sale in a size small which is my normal size. While it fit, it was tight across the back when worn over layers. When it went on sale recently I quickly ordered it in a medium and it gives me plenty of room. It has so many great features, two way zippers, lots of pockets that also zip, and long enough to keep my bum warm!! So other than ordering up a size to accommodate layers, my advice is, buy this coat!!
