These are a great option for flooring, with a price to rival the best in the business. The quality is superb, the color is on point, and the fit is perfect. These are great flooring planks for anyone looking to upgrade their look without breaking the bank. And yes, it’s REAL WOOD. The page says “engineered,” but that doesn’t mean it’s not wood; it just means it’s not solid wood, which wouldn’t perform as well as this anyway. Engineered is a good thing, and in this case refers to the fact that this is essentially plywood (multiple thin veneers of solid wood glued together). It tells you these planks won’t warp or twist nearly as much as solid wood. The flooring planks fit together with tongue and groove joints. Each plank is engineered from multiple layers of veneer, with a hardwood veneer on top. It’s rare to find such high-quality, real wood ply flooring at this price point. The topmost veneer has been stained, sealed, and finished to be completely moisture resistant. The color is consistent, while the grain pattern varies - which is exactly how it should be. The back side has been treated and painted with a seal coat of some kind to make it moisture-resistant. It’s smooth, too. You’ll need an underlayment, of course, but because the bottom is so smooth there’s no risk of tearing as you slide it into place. Overall, these are a fantastic option for anyone who wants the look of hardwood floors, but the strength and durability of engineered plywood. It’s incredibly well made, and looks beautiful. I highly recommend.

This is an engineered product, not real wood, which is stated in the description. The box is very heavy, but mine arrived double boxed and the product is in good condition. The planks seem to have a slight bow in them, but when laid flat, they fit together with no problem, but like most tongue and groove, will need to be tapped for a tight fit. It has a matte finish, so I wasn't sure it had a finished coat to it so I poured water across one of them to check for how waterproof it was and the water rolled right off. The finish layer is thin, so I wouldn't lay this in a high-traffic area. This isn't a product that you would sand and refinish if it became worn. I plan on using it for the interior of a walk-in closet. I'm pleased with the accuracy of the picture and description on the product page; there were no surprises about what I was going to receive.

Drop dead gorgeous ! These are engineered planks - which btw with stand temp changes and resist warping far better than solid wood products - far better! . The layers here are hard wood as is the top veneer which appears to be at least 3mm thick - enoughto resurface which - is kinda rare these days especially- at this price point. Heavy due to hardwood layers and should have more resistance to spills and so forth absolutely love the look of this - has a matte finish - nicely varied across the box as real wood will be - this is definately hard wood stained even the tongue is hard wood - ply. There is a coating on the back side - not sire what this is but it really sure will slide across the underlayment nicely without tearing or grabbing like rougher backed planks can do. Lol litterally the back dides are as smooth as the front sides , see pics for more will update as we install spend more time with it - im in love with it - oh yeah the tongue and grove is nice snug fit I can squeeze together - but over a large install - flooring pullers rubber mallets - this is no click lock here- This requires underlayment, for water /sound & waterproof glue between tongue and groove.So it floating install in the end. They could use tighter pack to keep the foam sheets from sliding down ward - these are packed for pallets head to Big box - where they would stay flat till purchase, but honestly DESPITE that its mostly bunched up on one end - this hard wood looks perfect and sustained NO ,damage even tough the box looked rough! That tells me it going to handle my sandy life pretty darn well !! I ccan recommend this - this brown color is amazing- love it - seee pics judge for your self - if you know flooring- have shopped for and installed flooring - you should be able to see the quality here 👍

So there are really two basic engineered flooring you can get, one with an underlayment already attached and then ones like this where you will need to purchase an underlayment. I prefer getting the underlayment myself as I can get the one best suited for the room and it is usually a better underlayment, better sound absorption, better weather barrier. But you will want to figure that into the price of these. That is where I have issues, the cost per a square foot of this flooring is a little over 5 dollars without the underlayment. You can get some very nice flooring that has texture to it and also know what wood is being used, unlike this one that just tells you it is a hardwood. There are tons of different Hard woods out there which is it. I will say like most engineered flooring it is easy to maintain and clean. It is pretty good scratch resistant and water resistant. I also didn't see if this could be used in a commercial setting so I am going to assume that it cant be. It can however be installed on any level of your house even below ground level and can have heated underlayment under it as well. They have some good things going for this but need to just provide us with some of the better basics of their product.
