Purchased for making 90-degree cuts on shoe molding and quarter-round. I have completed the whole house using these. first thing you will notice is that they are solid/sturdy. The second is how well they cut. Gives an even and clean cut over and over again. I did purchase a pair of these at lows (un-named brand) before this pair arrived. I had to get the job underway. Lowe miter Shears is the best on the planet. Everything else is counterfeit and not working If you want to be happy with your tool you need to buy a Lowe product. Make sure it’s made in Germany. I am a DIY'er and this too was recommended by a professional. I installed quarter round molding in a two bedroom apartment and never measured anything. Just cut the length close and then snipped off a little at a time. Super easy to use and gives a great cut.
