My phone, a standard size Pixel phone, just barely fits in the holder. If your thinking of using this with a larger phone, look elsewhere, it won't fit. The tripod lacks stability if you try to put the camera on to take shots in portrait, and don't even think of putting a camera on it. I've used this only once, but it worked well for what I needed it for: to hold my phone (iPhone 7) for a Zoom video conference. All the best advice says to mount your camera at or above eye level, and this tripod, set on a desk, is perfect for that. I wouldn't recommend it for heavy-duty use, as it seems a bit flimsy, but it is extremely compact and could be easily packed in a handbag or briefcase. ... show more

I was hoping that this would comfortable for my iPhone 8 Plus but it only works without the case. This phone is relatively average in size but the phone holder is barely wide enough for just the phone. With the case, it definitely doesn’t fit.

I got this selfie stick/ tripod for my father in law as a gift and he absolutely loves it. It is very sturdy, good quality - works great as a selfie stick with a removable remote control, and as a tripod. It holds i Phone 11 very firmly in place.

If you are going to use it as selfie stick then there is no significant difference. Just if you buy oribox one you will have one more rotation capability. Because Atumtek one's just has one rotation point. It's annoying comparing to Oribox but overall Atumtek is better for me. I use it for long exposure photos at nights. Atumtek's legs are more sturdiness and it weights more than Oribox's. I have note 10 plus which is almost 200gr. When I use them with note 10 plus, balance problems occurs with Oribox. My phone was about to fall down. I recommend Atumtek over Oribox. ... show more
