This game is absolutely phenomenal. The best game of 2020 hands down and my favorite game of all time. This is up there with the best games of all time. So much love, talent and effort was poured into this game. The graphics are absolutely phenomenal, and the gameplay is incredible. This looks, plays and feels so good on switch. I adore Mario as a 2d platformer but this game does it so much better! The backgrounds are so detailed. This music is so good. The ending which I won’t spoil is very emotional too. Every frame in this game can be a wallpaper that’s how beautiful this game is. I will replay this game on hard mode and do all the challenges too. This game is even better than the first with spirit trials in which you can race against other players, better graphics, better gameplay (skills, weapons to unlock), and characters to interact with! I know this review is long but it’s just such a good game. Please just buy it already. It’s only 30$, includes the soundtrack and nice picture too. I even purchased the official art book cause of my love for this game. The art book goes into detail in how they made the game too. This game changed my life it’s absolutely incredible. I'm 57, fully disabled by MS. I have a bad right hand on top of it. I have been playing video games since atari and space invaders. This game is fantastic. Puzzles and Challenging parcor platforming. This game is a masterpiece. The controls are responsive, animations are wonderful snd the graphics in general are amazing. Technically there is a lot of complexity, what appears at first glance to be a simple 2d play former has so many different layers that make the world really come alive. The team that pitted this to the switch did an amazing job making changes to allow the switch port to run at 60fps without sacrificing image quality in a noticeable way. Digital foundry did a wonderful in depth analysis of this port that is well worth watching. This is one of the few games that I own digitally and physically. As I have game pass ultimate I can also play on XBox and PC but I ended up playing exclusively on the switch as it’s just so convenient to play. Decided to pickup a Switch Lite solely for playing this version games(1 & 2). Fantastic game(s), sound scores, graphics, storyline, & playthrough. Just got back into playing Will of the Wisp, stop for sometime as I wanted to finish Blind Forest 1st. Each game mechanics are slightly different, so it took some time to feel out the Wisp again. It's coming back & some refined points. A fantastic 2D side scroller, that does punish you for timing reactions. Moon Studio has come up w/a fantastic franchise & w/a phenomenal creative team of truly world wide talent(literally).... ... show more

I’ve gotten to a point in the game that I can no longer figure out what I need to do next but I have truly enjoyed the time it took to get there.
