These dryer balls work great. I washed my clothes with no softener at all and my clothes came out softer and feeling better. No softener residue. So glad I bought them. They don’t add any additional odor. One review I read noted an unpleasant odor but I don’t find that the case.

My honest opinion of the product. The product was packaged nicely no damage. The come in a nice bag that holds the 6 balls which is durable. There was no strong chemical odor, animal smell etc to the dryer balls. The dryer balls i was sent was new, smooth, no defects and firm no issues. I don't use fabric softener on my clothes. just put a couple of drops of essential oils. For small and medium load cut my drying time down a lot I have a sensor timer on my dryer when using them my clothes are completely dry so less drying time especially with clothes with thicker fabric . There was no static on the clothes when i used them. I would definitely recommend this product. So far I like the product that is family owned and made in the usa.

Easy to begin using the balls. Just pop them in your dryer. I use 3 of them. Then just leave them in the dryer. Clothes and towels come out fluffier. I am considering adding "Essential Oil" for a fragrance.

I switched to these from drier sheets. They often get stuck or lost in the clothes and some of the clothes get really staticky, which didn’t happen with a drier sheet. But I’ll keep using these since I wanted an alternative to drier sheets.

I may use these for some loads of laundry, but these have an unpleasant odor. Maybe the odor will dissipate with more use. The pros... these work for reducing static, you will definitely save money not having to buy dryer sheets or fabric softener, and it is better for the environment. The cons... as mentioned, the smell, but also it did not soften towels. My towels came out scratchy (as my kids say). As far as the smell, it smells exactly like what it is, sheep's wool. The smell reminds me of when I had to muck out the barn stalls back in my horse riding days- like hay/straw mixed with animal smells. I tried hand washing them with Woolite and letting them air dry, and I tried putting essential oils on them before using in the dryer as suggested, but that barn odor is still there. It's not an overpowering odor, but I swear I get a faint whiff of it on the towels I dried using these. I will keep trying the essential oils to see if the odor will eventually dissipate, but I am not giving up my dryer sheets just yet.
