Mary Tylor Naturals lavender oil is 100% natural, and has a fresh fragrant scent. Use it topically on your skin to ease tension and promote a restful sleep. It is also great to use with aromatherapy, massages, and for headaches. You can also use our pure lavender oil on burns and cuts, eczema and dermatitis, for nausea or motion sickness, nosebleeds, and dry or chapped skin. Our premium therapeutic grade lavender oil is free from pesticides and other chemicals, and comes in 4 oz. amber glass bottle with a convenient glass dropper. I was sent a used or defective bottle. The box was saturated with oil, the bottle was sticky and when I opened the cap I noticed there was a hole in the protective stopper. It looks like it was returned used, repackaged, and sold as new. I started going through the return process but the box was distortroyed. It was too much of a hassle during COVID19 to go to a return center.     • Houseflies make a mad dash for exit points when they smell this.
We have been dealing with invasions of flies...maybe because smoke from Ontario wildfires has been blowing across our state. I have never had a problem with flies finding their way in to my rooms before...so I'm thinking that maybe they are having as much trouble with the outside air as we are. When you breathe through holes in your exoskeleton skin, you need fresh air. I've been dropping just a few drops of this Citronella oil into a dish of water...for placement on my oil diffuser. After a few minutes of my slight heating this oil, flies are scrambling for the exits...bumping into each other to get out. They all prefer to take their chances with particulates from wildfires. It's so obvious that they cannot tolerate citronella oil. i can use this to clear a room in about 30 minutes. I like this one as a fly repellent because it's safe for indoors. Not all citronella products are indoor safe. This citronella oil smells nice...and whatever it is putting into the air has to be preferable to typhoid or cholera germs...or whatever flies carry in on their little feet. ... show more

This is good, strong citronella oil that repels mosquitoes and most likely other flying / biting insects. It came with a fine glass dropper for measuring it out. I'm now adding this oil to my basic E.O.-based DIY bug repellent. Biting and otherwise annoying insects just leave you alone when you use this oil (along with other oils that deter specific other pests). ... show more

Unfortunately, I knocked it off counter today. Bottle broke and entire house reeks of cintronella. I'm just glad I didn't spill a whole bottle of fish oil!

    • Great scent
I received a bottle of Citronella that had leaked. It didn't leak that much so wasn't worth my time to return it since it does have a wonderful scent. It is a full scent so I don't need to use much in my diffuser. I would buy it again. One star off for the leakage.

    • Barely smells like citronella
I have purchased citronella several times for over 30 years and this is the worst I have ever purchased. It has a hint of citronella but overall is does not smell very good.
