I have a neutral theme in my kitchen- lots of browns and muted earth tones. I thought the deep brown wooden looking mat would be perfect. i use the smaller size for by my sink and the larger size by my oven. they are great for anti fatigue and the color is true to the product description. they have been easy to clean. I give the rug 4 stars only because i can’t get the edges to lay down. it comes rolled up in the box and i haven’t been able to get it to lay flat in the 2 months i’ve had it. i laid heavy items on the ends to help flatten and that hasn’t done it. overall still a great purchase

Update: these mats did, *eventually*, settle down flat, and they do help dampen noise when something falls or is dropped out of the pantry cabinets. The surprise twist is that one (maybe two?) of our cats likes to 'sharpen' her claws on them, creating little foam bits. She's the one who also likes to eat plastic so maybe it's some smell in the foam that's attracting her. Otherwise, decent mat for the price. I got two of these mats to put in front of the storage wall in our dining room, as digging through them often results in things dropping on the floor which is apparently loud and startling in the basement below. A quick test shows that they succeed in cutting the noise from dropped cans and so forth, so the main issue is solved for a low price. I opted for the wood grain version so they'd blend in, and though they're darker than our floors the appearance is fine. Pros: thick and seems durable has a nonslip surface which may be especially handy in wet areas like the kitchen good size for the price graphic print quality is pretty good no weird smells on unwrapping doesn't slide around much when kicked (which is a good segue into Cons) Cons: as others have mentioned, textured surface is oddly sticky if you're wearing shoes with a tread taking a long time to 'relax' The biggest problem, which is resulting in some tripping, is that the memory in this material is really persistent--these were shipped in tight rolls (as is usual for things like this) with the white side out. It's reversible, so that means if you were after the color on the inside of the roll, you may be struggling to get this thing to lay down. The ends keep curling back up and they've caused some minor tripping, just our feet/shoes catching on it and having to doublestep. My usual trick with rolled rugs and mats is to slip the unrolled item under an area rug overnight to help hold it flat while it's 'relaxing', but that wasn't quite enough. I tried rolling them up with the brown side out (opposite of how they were stored) and tucking them where they'd stay rolled (not as tight as how they were shipped, but rolled) and leaving them like that for half a day. That seemed to work but a few hours later the edges were right back where they were. If it were summer I'd sit them out in the sun to heat them up before trying the roll trick again. Short of digging up a heat gun I'm going to see if flipping them over for a while helps. Maybe the curl issue varies depending on the pattern, and maybe it's only an issue for people depending on which side they wanted to use. I started to give these 4 stars because they meet my primary objective, but the amount of effort it's taking to get them to lay safely flat so we don't trip on them is making me knock it back to 3. However they're nice and thick, and seem like they'll last a while, so if that's your main concern, this is a decent mat for the price.

Too narrow. If you look at the picture it is half the size of that horizontally. Also, it is not thick like I would like it to be. It's quite thin. Not comfortable to stand on bare foot. I had to use heavy duty tape to ensure the edges sticks on the floor cuz it wouldn't stay down. It kept flaring up and I'd trip on it. I have kids. That's a big no no for me. Cleaning it is also a such a hassle. Other floor mat I can vacuum and wipe down. This one needs a good scrubbing. Dirt gets really stuck there.
