Many other companies making protein powder will try to convince you that their product is something special. For example they will say it’s derived from a specific source or that it’s a special flavor or that it’s natural. This gives them an excuse to jack up the prices and screws the consumer. I like how optimum nutrition just has completely straightforward and simple packaging that just simply states its premium protein powder and what it can do for you. They also offer the best prices in bulk. I bought the 10 pound bag since I’ve already purchased three 5 pound containers over the years and wanted to save money in the long run. I don’t think there are many other seller on Amazon selling this much protein powder in bulk and such high quality and low price. Only the 1 pound package is completely a rip off because it costs $40 and I’ve bought it at places like target for less than 30 bucks.

1. A lot of the creative flavors (extreme milk choc, strawberry, vanilla) have this ingredient called Sucralose in them. Aside from the health concerns (I’ll let you look that up to decide yourself), it makes the mix taste ridiculously too sweet when mixing with milk. The only flavor I know of without this Sucralose ingredient is the Double Rich chocolate flavor, which to me mixed with milk makes this drink tastes exactly like a refreshing Nesquik or Yoo-hoo. I would encourage anyone to look into it. 2. Having issues mixing, whether it’s not wanting to clean a blender or finding lumps in your shaker bottle? Look into an electronic milk froth (ideally with two rings). Promise you won’t regret it.

This one never tasted bad, so I'd recommend the flavor. But, there's a notable downside. Mixing this protein powder can be challenging. I used a quality shaker bottle and still struggled to achieve a smooth consistency. The powder tends to clump, resulting in a chunky texture. I used this while dieting so I'd mix it in a shaker bottle with water every morning and it just wouldn't dissolve the way it should. If taste is your top priority and you don't mind putting in extra effort to mix it properly, this protein powder may be worth trying. Also, if you typically blend your protein shakes, you won't have any problems. But if easy mixing is essential to you, you might want to explore other options.
