WARNING. So I original purchased this product directly from Optimum Nutrition, and liked the product so I looked to see if I could find it on Amazon. Which I did at a better price. So I ordered the exact same product, including the flavor. The canister I received looks the exact same, but the product inside most definitely wasn't. I felt no energy boost as I did with the product purchased directly from ON. See the picture below. The left glass is the Amino Energy from ON, and the right glass is the Amino Energy from Amazon. No factory seal like others I’ve purchased over time, and product was opened. (See attached pics) Possibly fraudulent item and/or possibly unsafe as product was received opened along with powder/product on the outside of container. Very disappointed and will be returning ASAP.

I like ON Amino Energy but I have an issue with the Amazon bought product: I originally purchased this product from Costco, and liked it for the pre-workout. Next batch I decided to purchase from Amazon. It should have been exactly the same except a different flavor. However, this batch was somehow different in a bad way. First, right out of the package, the lid wa halfway open, even though the seal was still on. Then, I noticed that I didn’t get the same energy as before. Not only that there was an energy crash for a few hours afterwords. After using it for about a month (used approx half of the container) I bought a batch from Costco, and the differece is amazing. Great energy, no crash. Not sure what the issue is, but quality on this product from Amazon is junk! ... show more

I use this product all of the time. Sometimes I buy it from Amazon and sometimes GNC. I just received a large bottle of watermelon. It was NOT the same product. The consistancy, smell, and taste were wrong. It smelled like it had baking powder in it. It didn't have the normal fruity smell. The taste was off. I only took a small sip but it didn't taste the same. I knew fake products are out there but this was the first time I had one. I'm returning it immediately. ... show more

Pictures attached. This is the second time I've purchased the product. As for the energy level, it's okay. However, my complaint is that they cheat you on the amount of the product. Pictures are of a brand new can. As you can see, the can is less than half way full. The first time this happened, I thought it was a fluke. Apparently not. Message to the company: either shorten the can or add more product to the current can size. The Fruit Fusion flavor tastes horrible...very bitter. ... show more

Telling you folks right now, one way or another some of these batches of amino energy are fake. If they dont have the optimum nutrition seal on the side. Also the containers come with a generic black wrapping around the lid and the white fresh seal is missing underneath cap is also a bad sign. i was getting suspicious when i would never get a kick from drinking this anymore, even with cycling for weeks. I purchased from bodybuilding.com, official seals and energy is back. Willing to bet this stuff is fake on amazon ... show more

After drinking the same stuff (same brand and grape flavor but from GNC) almost every day for two years I finally ordered it from Amazon. First off, ON Amino Energy is AMAZING!!! Drinking it has helped me lose weight, gain muscle, and become a much more productive person without the usual negative caffeine effects. However, this drink had a very weird taste when it came from Amazon and provided very little energy for me in comparison to what I am used to. The package and powder were nearly exactly the same, so I won't say it is an obvious fake. The expiration and batch # stamps on the bottom are in different colors and fonts. Maybe they're repackaging expired stuff?? Either way, I am immediately returning it after my first use and going back to GNC for the real stuff. ... show more

I've been taking this for about a month. 1 scoop for a pre-workout, in the morning. It would defnitely give me some jitters but provided some morning energy for my workout. But, as of the last 2 weeks I've noticed that I was getting a massive headache and was sluggish throughout the rest of the day; starting about 2 hours after taking this product. I don't typically drink caffeine daily, but noticed I needed caffeine around 4pm and then I would get home from work and just crash. At first, I thought I was tired b/c I had upped my morning workout routine and I just needed to get used to the additional activity. But, then I realized maybe it was actually this product that was causing my issues. I stopped taking this about 4 days ago and almost immediately I have felt better. No headache, not sluggish, and no need for an after work "crash" nap. Will not be using again. Not sure why I would have the opposite affect of what I was looking for. ... show more
