  • Beware: it’s luminous
Color: Pale to the Chief
Off the bat, this one is gorgeous. Now, the BIG but. It’s got a hint of pearlescence. I was expecting a glossy cream finish as imaged and described, so was a little put off when in-person it was pretty obvious even through the bottle that the lacquer had a little iridescence. I know everyone is living their best mermaidBarbiedreamlife this season, but pearly neutrals just always make me think of a more, shall we say, “mature” manicure. Or the ‘80s in a never go back kind of way. So, I just grumbled to myself, painted the stuff on, and was meh/whatever. Then I went outside. Ugh this color won me over. It’s a true summer neutral with a minimalist kick. The little bit of pearlyness lands more as an ever so subtle, not-quite metallic than anything else. That effect feels less precious or old-fashioned than actual pearly finishes without being “modern”. The overall effect is indeed overwhelmingly glossy cream, just not in the true sense of those terms. It can pass for that in low light, but when well-lit, the color does shimmer, yet remains warm. Kinda like one of those Twilight vampires would if they tanned or something. Anyways, I lowkey hated it at first sight and now it’s probably my favorite color of the summer. Just gotta know what you’re actually getting into. I know. Nail polish. Soooo crucial lol ... show more

  • Timeless chic favorite
Color: I'm Not Really a Waitress
1 of the very few times my spouse accompanied me to the nail salon I asked for their opinion on polish shades and this was their preference. This shade was not only in my preferred color range, I’d actually used it before. I’ve spent a lot of time and money running back and forth to the salon every time I somehow manage to ruin my nails. All it took was 1 search on Amazon for the brand and shade of polish I use and I found my favorite shade and could now use it as an at home fixer upper! Purchasing this polish saves me time and money by being able to do quick fixes at home for a small fraction of the cost. ... show more

  • Nice nail polish, yet on my computer screen it looks different than on my nails.
Color: Pixel Dust
Very nice lovely nail polish, yet on a computer schreen it looks somewhat different than on my nails. I liked it on computer screen more than on my nails However, I need to point out that it is my personal preferences and likes or dislikes, and another lady may like this shade of pink better than I did. All of us, women, are different with our preferences. ... show more

  • Summer bright color~
Color: Surf Naked
Great for a little change to my usual color. I wanted something a little brighter to fit the summer feelings. The wear is pretty good. I do a lot of hands on activities so my nails do get a little more wear and tear to be fair. Since I like to keep my natural nails I used a lot of OPI polishes. Normally the most you can ask of at a home nail polish longevity is about a week and this holds up to almost a week. Closer to 6 days. The pearlescent shine this polish has is bright, mermaid, cheerful vibes. ... show more

  • Great Dark Color
Color: Black Cherry Chutney
This is a great polish and if you like dark colors this may be for you. It changes color slightly indoors versus outdoors. It is a rich dark brownish color with a hint of red on my skin tone. I had never worn a brownish color before but it is such a pretty color that it grows on you. It wears well and lasts about 3 weeks on average. I didn't have any issues with the product. ... show more

  • Beautiful rich color
Color: Black Cherry Chutney
This color is beautiful, a throwback to the Chanel colors in the late 80’s. I have short nails, but this color makes a very rich background for jewelry. Looking forward to wearing this with fall and winter fashions. A new favorite!

  • Best nail polish
Color: That’s What Friends Are Thor
Beautiful coco brown color for fall, went on with a smooth texture, and has lasted me so far 5 days without a chip, usually wear is only about 2 days for me! The bottle lasts a long time too, saves me money instead of going to the salon.

  • It's a relationship
Color: Funny Bunny
Where do I start ...I've had a love hate relationship with this color or should say formula or sheer formula of O.P.I. I don't know! I fell in love with "FUNNY BUNNY". I've had french manicures all my life , the French mani was my signature , it still is , it always will be. The only exception I will and may make is Christmas where I might use a red polish ... or not . O.k. most definitely will use" LINCOLN PARK AFTER DARK' the whole month of October and maybe halfway through November cause Halloween is my thing. So French mani is a lifestyle. All was fine before covid when we all used to visit our salons , remember those days? yeah... since covid entered our lives I've had to domy own french. Here is when my love /hate relationship started. I like to have a white on white french. Always loved the look always will. This means first you color the tip of the nail with the whitest white and then you color the whole nail with FUNNY BUNNY. This is a sheer white that completes the white on white French mani. Now , I've never had to buy my own Funny Bunny, didn't need to , the salon had plenty. Then I found it on Amazon and was sooo happy till I wasn't. Halfway through the bottle the formula thickened. Not a good thing. O.K maybe it was a bad batch. Purchased again. Same thing. Wait , there's more. I had to have my Funny Bunny, we've been together for years , you don't just give up without any effort of saving the relationship. I decided to purchase it from other stores .Guess what .. same thing. My Funny Bunny was high maintenance. The formula thickens if not used I would say in a month for sure , 2 months pushing it. So I decided to try other options... Marshmallow and Waltz by Essie were great, lasted a little longer before thickening. Then it clicked , my mind figured it out. Salons finish polish faster ,we at home don't. Whatever I buy will thicken. There was never any issue with how all these polishes stayed on the nails without chipping. When you have acrylic nails there isn't much of a chipping problem . Hating was over, let Funny Bunny back into my life. It's just the perfect formula of a Sheer white. The sheerness is so smooth to brush on your nail. There is definitely a difference between real nail and a fake nail. For me its better on acrylic nails. The white is bright but not loud , in your face white. It really is different than the other whites I should know this ,I bought all of them, well not all but a ton of them. I had to find another white that was close to Funny Bunny, that's why I mentioned Marshmallow and Waltz. But then one day... like 4 days ago I had a weak moment and ordered Funny Bunny again. Yeah ,oh yeah it's definitely like no other , and I realized this now . Relationships ugh ... show more
