We have had these vests for almost two years now and they have held up to being out on the water, in the water, in the sun and in the garage and still look almost new. Fit is comfortable. It doesn’t cut in under the arms. Not bulky at all, easy to move around in. I didn’t give it 5 stars because it zips. That is personal preference as I think I’d like buckles better. Definitely great vest and I got it on sale!

Nice, budget-priced life jacket with perfect fit for seated paddle sports. The design with adjustable straps on the top and sides makes it super easy to fit just about anyone, and they are very comfortable to wear while kayaking. I made the mistake of buying a general purpose life jacket for kayaking and it's length close to my waist caused it to ride up against my ears and brushed my arms as I paddled. This vest, however, works perfectly. One note -- it's hard to tell in the photo that the pocket in the front is NOT zippered. It's just an open pocket. Would have been nice to be zippered but not complaining at this price point. ... show more

I am thicker than a snicker as a size 24 with a 46G chest, so finding PFDs has been very challenging for me. A kayaking group recommended the Onyx oversized PFD. Let me tell you, I ALWAYS have to extend everything to the maxed out looseness possible but not with this! I loosened it up all the way and had to tighten it quite a bit, which was an ego boost for me since that never happens. It’s comfortable, cute, and allows the girls to move out to the side without uncomfortably compressing them. I can actually move around in it and it’s very light weight. I will need to make some adjustments once I’m actually in my kayak but I’m so excited to find something that fits my body the way it should at this price. ... show more

I think this is a fine product. Well made and well priced. Unfortunately it did not fit me . My body shape was the issue, not the product. I was able to return the life vest with a full refund. I'm still trying to find a life jacket that works for me. Gotta get one as I bought a really nice kayak on Amazon at a great price. I'll keep looking and trying on life jackets. There has to be one out there for a woman shaped more like a beach ball than an hour glass. ... show more
