I have an auto-inflatable Onyx life vest. This recharge kit was easy to install and fit the vest perfectly. The last CO2 cartridge was “accidentally” triggered by my curious kids, and it inflated very fast. These cartridges were cheaper on Amazon than they were in other sporting retail stores.

Are use this product for an inflatable PFD. It fits perfectly, and was easy to install. I used it to replace a previous version of the kit, which had done exactly what it was supposed to do: inflate the lifevest automatically on contact with water. I I learned the hard way that there is no generic PDF rearming kit. It must be specific to the PDF instructions. This was the correct kit it was easy to install and employ. Hopefully I'll never have to use it.

4 stars due to price. A CO2 cartridge and a tiny piece of plastic. Lol. However, I know first hand these PFDs work! So I guess the price is worth having a functioning one.

Be sure if the yellow bobbin, which arms the life jacket, is dropping white particles do not use it is defective and will not inflate the life vest. We ordered to rearm kits , one was good the second had a defective yellow bobbin, it was dropping out the white lining which looks like styrofoam particles. It will cause you issues or cost a life because the jacket won’t arm when it hits the water. ... show more
