This plate carrier holds up to field events and heavy usage at least in my case. However the quick detach buckles on the shoulders to join the front and back plate does get in the way when shouldering a weapon.

I'm using this to work out in. Feels pretty quality. Time will tell how it holds up over time. It does come with "trauma" pads. I wish I would know that before I bought some. Maybe it was in the description I cant remember. The plates are a tight squeeze which isn't really a bad thing. Strap this bad boy on and go for a walk. Start slow.
