For the price, you are buying an upper mid range phone. It is not quite a flagship, but it's performance is up there with the best. So far my experience is good. Positive: 1. Screen is great. 2. Wide camara is insanely good. 3. Performance is flagship like. Negatives: 1. Battery charging time is NOT as advertised. 2. No battery in the box, meaning, you'll have to buy it from oneplus website (at least 50$ more) 3. Regular camera is not that great, S21 is miles better, for example, at a similar price range. Neutral: 1. Battery life is OK, nothing TOO crazy. Keep in mind: You are buying in a special range, it's not the flag ship experience but it's not a flag ship price. Phone was in like-new condition. No scratches or micro-abrasions, anywhere. One reviewer said that his had modified firmware that included restricted admin rights to the phone (apparently it was a corporate phone at some point). Mine was clean, just the OnePlus 9 5G firmware. Battery seemed to be in good shape as well. I've bought and sold phones on eBay and my last was a Samsung S22 Ultra. I always buy last year's flagships at half the original price and this phone was no different. The Samsung's previous owner reported that it was in "like-new" condition but when it showed up it had two small scratches in the center of the screen, not exactly like-new.. The benefit of buying here on Amazon is their easy 30-day return policy and I believe that this vendor goes a step further and extends the return window to 90 days, nice! I've seen reports that this phone's battery doesn't last the longest and that it can get hot during extended use, we'll see; again, the benefit of the return policy allows us time to test-drive it. The phone included a generic fast-charger (60W) and a USB-C cable and that was about it - I couldn't find a SIM ejection tool so you'll have to supply your own or use a paperclip. I am overly satisfied by my latest acquisition: a 'One Plus 9 Pro 5G' cellphone. I am aware that some gurus out there there may want the features of a US$1,000.00 cellphone, but for those who are regular humans with regular use of a cellphone this one is a jewel. This cellphone has features that I do not need such as a screen that refreshes at 120 Mhz. I do not play electronic games, but it is a pleasure to see screens flying from one task to another. Edit: I accidentally washed my phone with my laundry and thought for sure that it was a goner. Nope! Not a single problem!! I had a OnePlus 7pro and the rear camera stopped working. I didn't want to get locked into a contract again and I wanted to be able to return the phone if it was defective so I came on Amazon and found this. I didn't need anything new and it was within my budget. It's been a week and I'm still happy with this. I've had 0 problems setting it up. The battery lasts all day. My only problem was the charging cord didn't charge but Amazon required me to return the phone for a refund rather than just replacing the cord. I am still happy with this phone but the seller is misleading people. This item was listed as fully unlocked but it arrived with T-mobile branding. I use AT&T, and the phone technically works with the carrier but I can't get updates that aren't pushed out by T-mobile. The result is I've been dealing with an outdated operating system for over a year. Very annoying. If I could take back my purchase I would. By partner bought a brand new oneplus 9 from the factory, still in the original packaging, for the same price. Still love the camera. ... show more
