  • Awesome battery life, fast & beautiful OnePlus 15! Truly legit!
Color: Infinite Black Size: 512GB
So I've always been an Android user, often on the 2010s I'd have those low/mid level Moto G phones that got the job done. I don't game on my phone, but I do everything else, and also sell on eBay, Etsy & mercari, and the Moto G Power I had wasn't a great multitasker. So... I finally broke down and bought a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, and yes it was well worth the upgrade. It had 12gb RAM and ran very fast, but over time the battery has really been disappointing. I rarely stream or when used the foldout screens, so I just wanted a phone that was normal sized, ran Android and multiple apps just as fast, but also had a long battery life.... Enter this awesome OnePlus 15 with 16gb RAM, 512gb memory, an awesome processor & an amazing new silicon carbon 7300mah battery. I got it brand new here for $999 and one+ week in I am here to say I'm glad I listened to reviews and went with the OnePlus 15 I was not familiar with. It runs on Android and Oxygen OS, which runs just as fast as my Samsung if not faster. Solid value for money, especially if the battery last as long as it's rated to have. I'll be updating this review in a month just to make sure... It is a clean phone, quality picture and screen, runs at up to 165hz which is great if your a gamer, but it's a beautiful screen and phone, videos look crisp. For me, running multiple apps, taking pictures, always doing business on here, the battery truly last about 30+ hours even with mid-high usage. Then charging it with the charging USB cord & power supply (provided with the phone) provides SuperVOOC 100 watt charging power, literally full charge from 10% to 100% in 30 minutes! Love it! This phone does everything I need so far, is extremely responsive & very user friendly for any Android user. No it's not a Samsung big brand phone, but don't be skeptical, just because this is mostly a global phone doesn't mean it's not awesome in the US and worth every penny. It's not some mid level Moto phone for 300 bucks, it's literally identical to a Samsung in terms of hardware, except it has a crazy good battery. Great sound quality too, phone or Bluetooth paired. The camera is the only "average" thing on this phone, but it gets the job done. I'm not some professional photographer; but I do use it to take photos of my items today I sell and it works just fine. Overall I'm extremely happy with the OnePlus 15, and if the battery stays like it is I'll likely be a OnePlus'er for life. Please release the OnePlus 16 in the USA in 2027!! I'd pay for that 9000mah silicon carbon battery! All companies should be using these high powered silicon carbon batteries in the future, there's no excuse not to!! ... show more

  • The good news and the bad...
Color: Sand Storm Size: 512GB
This is my third OnePlus phone and I have liked them all very much because of their quality and functionality. Unfortunately, according to what I read recently, OnePlus will cease distribution to Europe and American continents at the end of this model run of all its phones. They are going to focus on the Indian subcontinent and mainland China for sales. Sad news for those of us that have used these very dependable phones for years and are accustomed to the operation and quality build. Even though my last phones did not have the maximum memory, that was never really a problem with me because USB-C works well to transfer info and pics to USB drives and computers. Okay, lamentations aside, I have the OnePlus 15 and after using it for a few weeks, I'm impressed with its responsiveness and how well it just works. I think it takes pretty good pictures, but I am not a photo expert or hobbyist. One change from the old models to the new is the central/top placement of the front facing camera. I had to use it yesterday for a video conference and it was a little bit touch and go at times because of the lens relocation; overall, that's a good thing. Battery life has improved due to the larger energy storage capacity. Some days, I was able to almost get 2 days of use on one charge. It has an 80 Watt fast charger that comes with the phone and it does not take long to top it off. There is a feature to reduce the maximum charge in the settings; I have mine to cease charging at 90% to increase battery life. I chose the sandstone color because I thought it would not show fingerprints, etc and that was a good choice since I have only had black phones in the past and those do pick up a little bit of stuff. The screen is absolutely stellar with its advanced features of very fast refresh rates and crisp display. From what I read, security and Android upgrades will be available for the US sold phones for several years into the future. Honestly, I do not even want to entertain or consider a replacement for the OnePlus brand; now absorbed by Oppo. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase. ... show more

  • Impressive
Color: Infinite Black Size: 512GB
I don't buy new phones every year or even every other year. This phone is replacing my Pixel 6 so it has been roughly 5 years since my last phone purchase. I "Identify" as a "power user" when it comes to android devices and to me if a company allows you to root the device, it says a lot about the company respecting the customers ownership of the device post purchase. I'll also add for the same specifications, it beats Samsungs S26 in price. Initial impressions: Coming from the Pixel I will admit the OnePlus feels a little less like an Android phone and more like a iPhone when it comes to user interface. It still functions like Android but overall feel and look suggests they were trying to appeal to both audiences. I used the factory options as well as a custom launcher and other customization apps to bring it back in line with the typical Android experience I am use to but I will say I falls short of the Pixel experience I've come to love. By no means a deal breaker for me but some things I feel are less intuitive then my Pixel was. The battery is by far one of the coolest changes I've had to get use while using this device. I have turned off most of the stuff like location, ad tracking, background apps, AI, etc and often use the phone while at work to listen to Youtube with the screen off as well as go to bed listening to content along with some short streaming video sessions at night while in the kitchen and still I often go 3 to 5 days without charging the phone. (in provided photos, on/off screen active times are only for the past 24hrs of use) It feels less like charging a phone battery and more like filling the gas tank in your car. I check it before going out but if its not below a 1/4 tank I just stick it in my pocket and go. The charge speed is also so fast it doesn't feel like I hook it up and wait around for hours for it to charge, even with a 45w charger it only takes roughly an hour to go from 20% to full, even less time with the provided charger which is an absolute brick but to OnePlus's credit, it converts most of the AC voltage to DC on the charger side which means the phone battery doesn't get as hot while charging. Less heat equals longer overall battery life AND since I'm not charging it nightly/daily, I am very curious to see how much longer this battery will last in terms of overall lifetime then my previous devices which were charged nightly. The camera is perfectly fine, I do not see a huge downgrade from my previous Pixel device, nor does the camera on the phone really serve as the bar for how useful a phone is to me. I am confident it will fulfill its duty in saving my family memories and everything else I wanna photograph with adequate precision and definition. If I really care about how good a photo comes out I probably wouldn't be using a phone over a real camera anyhow. The 512GB storage has been amazing. I loaded the phone up with tons of apps, games and other content, enough to have completely filled up my old Pixels drive(256GB) and still have another 256GB of free space. Needless to say I wont have to periodically unload all my photos/videos off the device or pick and choose which games to install/uninstall which is good since now you can play PC games on Android devices, I have a significant amount of my Steam and GoG library loaded on my OnePlus15. It runs PC games at impressive frame rates and doesn't drain the battery as quickly as I had initially thought it would either. So far I am pleased with my purchase. The battery and storage space alone make this device unlike anything I've ever owned before. I never considered China branded phones in the past but for sure will be looking at other devices from Oppo(parent company) in the future even IF OnePlus stops selling in North America as rumored. ... show more

  • A very dependable phone, with some of the best battery life and performance you can ask for.
So far, I definitely love the phone. I decided to get this device after returning my Pixel 10 Pro XL. My reasoning for returning the Pixel was that for me it just didn't really feel like an overall upgrade from my previous phone. The voice typing was good; however, for me it wasn't really consistent. Sometimes it would work, and other times it seemed to be worse than the standard Gboard. I do miss the camera sometimes, admittedly. As for the OnePlus 15, I love how fast it charges and how long the battery lasts. Even before battery calibration, I'm usually able to get a day and a half. The software simply glides in terms of speed and fluidity; it feels much faster and more responsive than my 16 Pro Max, and I found a lot of the software features to be useful. I appreciate how some apps, such as Messages, automatically turn into mini windows so that you can reply directly from there instead of having to launch the entire app. The face unlock and the fingerprint scanner are exquisite. Call and reception work quite well for me with Verizon, and I've had no issues there. Also, the display is very nice! I've read a lot of reports about the camera not being the best, especially compared to its predecessor. I never owned its predecessor, so I can't speak for that device; however, I haven't really found myself dissatisfied with the camera. Yes, the Pixel was a bit better; however, I honestly can't say it's a massive difference. To say that this is a bad camera, in my opinion, is extremely inaccurate. This is coming from someone who does casual photography as a hobby. I also applaud OnePlus for having a pre-installed screen protector on the device, as well as the charging brick in the box. Overall, this phone is excellent for someone who wants a phone that just simply works, powers through every single task with ease and finesse, and has a battery that is an absolute unit, with a display that is visually appealing to look at in terms of quality as well as bezel size. For me, the camera has been quite good! Pixel level? Not quite, but certainly able to compete with higher-priced devices. I can't speak much for video as I don't take many videos on my phone, but overall I've had zero issues with the camera. Good job OnePlus! ... show more

  • insane performance and battery life thanks to new chipset and silicon carbon battery
Color: Sand Storm Size: 512GB
Contrary to what many keyboard warriors on reddit are saying, this is a great phone. The performance is incredible with everything you do feeling very fluid and smooth. Great 2 day battery life even with extensive, demanding usage throughout the day. Handles multitasking very well and has many very unique, quirky UI features that make this phone very pleasant to use and easy to transition to from a different UI. The camera is nothing remarkable, but is not bad by any means at all, photos are clear, crisp and well colored. Night photos could be better but that is a small complaint. Sound quality is well balanced with an exception of a bit of a heavier low end. Dolby Atmos (dubbed holo audio on OP15) sounds amazing with shows, games, and movies. The screen quality is on par with Apple and Samsung, (people were complaining about the pixel-by-pixel resolution being downgraded but this is due to the change in screen size and is a very small change that is not noticeable to the human eye), incredibly crisp, well colored, clear display. Durability is not bad but nothing to blow a gasket over either. Its a pretty durable phone but on par with the Samsung with the exception of the paint being more scratch resistant on the OP. Overall a very enjoyable phone to use. I look forward to see what OnePlus will do in the future, this phone is a leap forward in smartphone hardware in the United States. If you are looking for a new phone outside of the Apple and Samsung ecosystems, I could not recommend this phone more. Performance wise it blows other flagships out of the water. Amazing value in a great and highly capable phone. ... show more

Powerful phone that can handle resource demanding games with ease. The OS is easy to use and has so many useful features. Camera gives much better image quality than what people online claimed. It is the best bang for your buck phone in my opinion. Though, OnePlus stated that it will pull out of the global market. ... show more

  • Great phone!
Color: Infinite Black Size: 256GB
I love one plus phones. I replaced a 12pro that I dropped one to many times and it died. Not the phones problem, just mine! I also previously had a 10pro that I destroyed as well. So my third one plus is the same high quality as all one plus products. Durability is actually better than other phones I've owned. Camera and features are on par with other flagship phones. This phone is blindingly fast and the battery life is great. I haven't noticed the speed increase from phone to phone since the old dual core galaxy came out. Screen is beautiful and works well outdoors. A bit smaller than the 12pro, but that's a good thing. Feels like my old 10pro. And the price for the flagship model is by far very reasonable, like about 2/3 the cost. Android experience is about as true as it gets, no bloatware. Just some useful tools. ... show more

  • Incredible phone with an insane battery
Color: Sand Storm Size: 512GB
Incredible phone. Just incredible. Hands down beats Samsung and Iphones by a big margin. I have T Mobile and it works flawless. It has all the 5G and 4G bands to support high speed connection. The performance is just outstanding. The battery is leagues ahead of anything I have ever used. Pros: - Insane Battery life (2+ days on one charge + 165Hz screen) - Incredible performance. I haven't seen any lag. Apps load like butter. - Has wifi 7 with incredible network performance. A few cons if you are looking for some: - You would need to use Google Pay as Samsung pay is only for Samsung Phones - Camera is good but could be better Overall I would fully recommend this. Just get it. I was skeptical about the 'frequently returned' tag on amazon but after getting it, its just incredible experience overall. ... show more
