The best of Oneplus and Android!!! Having owned a OnePlus 12r, and just Android phones since 2013 (Droid Maxx being my first) . This is the phone for tech people and just anyone in general. Checklist of what I like and don't like below. Likes -Beautiful 6.8 screen that can have a fixed 120hz refresh rate, color reproduction on the OLED screen is top notch with plenty of customization options in terms of accuracy. Has Ceramic shield for durability. -I love the aquatouch, I have used it in the steam room or when working out and I can actually decently type with the screen wet. (IP 69 ensures I can use in high temp Sauna without issue) -Oxygen OS I love the layout and customization I love the global search at the bottom of the icons yes it reeks iPhone but I like the feature -Battery life is outstanding although on par with the 12r, quick charging as well. -Love the included charging brick which both Samsung and Apple no longer include. -Camera is probably the best oneplus has ever done. Hasselblad partnership has helped OnePlus up their game. -Snap Dragon Elite processor, is just top notch performing if you want to do gaming this phone will do it without issue. -Always on screen is customizable and fantastic. - IP68/69 rating highest possible for Water resistance. -Speakers are good, produces great sound via bluetooth with customizable profiles. -Less AI What I do not like or other may not possibly like -Oxygen OS includes dual apps like for photos and you will get a feeling the app is trying to fuse some of ios features into it like a dynamic island clone I like them myself but this will not be a Pixel Like stock Android. -If you are expecting tons on AI integration like the Pixel series, this is not it, while there is Gemini and magic eraser some of the more baked in AI you see with Samsung or Pixel is not here I like that others may not. -You cannot get this phone through carriers for financing, but hey Amazon has financing options. -While I am not a Camera guru or enthusiast, the Cameras while they are solid are not on par with the latest Pixel or iPhone very close but not there yet. -This will not receive as much updates as the Pixel, Samsung or iPhone. In closing to me this is the best phone you can buy, the performance and the quality is on par with the best but on average costs less. I do not like Samsungs take on Android but other might, I hope my review helps those that are on the fence. ... show more

The OnePlus 13 just arrived in time for Father's Day! After having a Google Pixel 6, I wanted to try something different. The online reviews for it really caught my eye, and I'm genuinely surprised by some of the negative comments I've seen because my experience with this phone has been nothing short of awesome! From the moment I unboxed it, the striking blue color captivated me—I almost don't want to hide it in a case! It's reassuring to know it has an IP69 durability rating, offering top-tier protection. In terms of daily use, the software is incredibly fluid and responsive, the camera consistently captures excellent photos, and the battery life is phenomenal, often lasting me well over a day. What truly impressed me was the inclusion of a fast charging brick and cable right in the box, a thoughtful addition that many other manufacturers have unfortunately phased out. If you're in the market for a new smartphone and open to exploring a different brand, the OnePlus 13 is definitely worth a look. ... show more

I love the phone. I listened to so many Youtube review and tips/tricks videos before buying and they helped me maneuver through all the settings choices. I haven't had a chance to really put the camera through its paces but the few pics I've taken have been far superior to my old Samsung S20 that had begun to fail a few months after a hard drop. I really enjoy the customizations that I've been able to make. I had hoped not to need a case because one thing I love about the phone is the look of it, the blue color, the feel and look of the casing, the One Plus and Hasselblad branding, but without a case, I always felt like I would drop it because the camera bump makes it feel unbalanced, specifically top heavy. I was afraid I'd drop it so had to find a case. I did find a nice clear one. I miss the feel of casing but otherwise it feels good in the case. Almost perfect, in fact. ... show more

It's the nicest phone I've ever owned so far. It's insanely fast, I don't think I could ever fill the storage space, it looks and feels like a premium phone should. The charging is amazing. I never have to worry about waiting for charging, since it takes minutes with the supercharger cable. Camera is quite good, but people say other flagships outperform this one. I've still taken some awesome shots with it. Overall, it's extremely high quality, I never have issues with it, and I'm always finding new features I didn't even know about. ... show more

After the first year, which is the limited warranty, the phone is falling apart. It overheats to the point that I am afraid to hold it, the screen malfunctions, and the charger becomes very hot. And worse, the residual value is so low that only OnePlus would buy it at 10 to 15% of its original price, whereas Apple keeps its value at 60 to 65% in one year. So, which one is better to have?
