Everything went together easily and the instructions were simple to follow. I did it by myself except for about 2 minutes of total time when I sked my wife to hold the sides while I attached them to the rear section. It took me about 2 hours total. I had previously purchased a smaller cabinet from a competitor ( Macrout Small Plastic Storage Shed 4.3 x 2.5 ft.) and was going to purchase their larger storage cabinet since I was very pleased with it. Then I saw this storage cabinet and they looked almost identical but this one was available for significantly less. In any event and in my opinion, this one and the one from Macrout are from the same manufacturer as this one looks just like it and went together the same as the smaller one. If comparing between the 2 get this one as they are the same molded plastic and even the hardware is identical. In fact, I had an extra shelf from the smaller Macrout cabinet i previously purchased and didn't use and it is identical to the ones that came with this cabinet and fits perfectly. I want to start by saying the customer service here has been absolutely immaculate. They’ve gone above and beyond, emailing me back and forth over the last three days, doing everything they could to help. I don’t fault them one bit—they really did try to make things right, and I appreciate that. Now for the honest part: the shed itself is not great. If you're planning to store anything with a bit of weight, I wouldn’t recommend it. The floor feels like foam board, and it’s already cracked—even though all I’ve stored in it are five plastic totes of Christmas decorations. Nothing heavy: two totes hold my tree, and the rest are just ornaments and lights, all light enough for my teenager to carry with no trouble. The doors didn’t line up properly, so my husband had to zip-tie them shut because we couldn’t put a proper lock on. Assembly was frustrating with warped boards and poorly fitting pieces—definitely not what I expected from a $400 shed. That said, it is together now, it’s waterproof, and it serves its basic purpose. The company gave me a partial refund since I couldn’t return it (the shed was already assembled and the boxes were gone), which I appreciated. In the end, if you don’t plan to store much or get lucky with better quality pieces, this might be a decent fit for you. But if you're expecting solid construction or durability, you might be disappointed My pictures show the doors almost lined up but if I take of the zip tie it's not the ziptie is holding one higher ... show more
