The violin is absolutely stunning; it comes with everything one could possibly need – a tuner, rosin, a violin case, and even an extra set of strings. Fortunately, it included that spare set of strings, because during the tuning process, two strings unexpectedly snapped. I'm happy with this fiddle! Granted, I am a total beginner, but this is a beginner violin, so that's fine. I think it looks nice. It comes with everything you need to get started, even a shoulder rest! It does require some setup. You have to put on the bridge. It's not hard to do and there are marks to indicate where it goes. I did break a string trying to tune the violin, but that's my fault. They do NOT tune like a guitar. You should maybe watch some videos if you're a true beginner like me. Note: the violin will not make a sound until the bow is properly rosined. I had to use some sand paper on the ROSIN to get it started. After that the violin makes a pretty good sound, at least as far as I can tell as a beginner. I'm enjoying playing some scales. I don't have any complaints! ... show more
