The good! It handles like a 450 size. Built quality is very good. All aluminum and carbonfiber. Comes with safe mode, if you are quick and setup the switch correctly, you should have no problem trowing the mode in in. it'll take a beating. (not the shaft and feather shaft) comes in nice case The bad: take out all screws and add lock tide. (Double check) this heli will fall apart on you. out of the box the pitch on cyclic is to high. The tail won't compensate for that Parts are hard to come by these days. By like you are a Hamster. Spectrum user be aware you going to need a satellite and you have to bind that with another receiver that has a satellite connector. case won't last Users opinion! Hard to see at distance White and blue looks cool but completely useless for orientation purposes stable flight sometimes the tail twitches and spins out at higher winds I can't get enough of that thing its a fun flyer If you can fly this you can fly any large scale heli its fast at speed runs reliable flyer Cheap to fix batteries charge very fast just like a big one would I recommend this? Yes you need this, its fun and cheap, you can test moves without breaking a 700 size $400 repair bill heli In case you really smack this heli repairs are anywhere between 30-100 bucks.     • It does work really well I just realized its too stressful making it not fun.
It would have been nice if you could just bind it strait to a dsm transmitter without getting a satellite receiver. I got a satellite receiver and then discovered even though I had two receivers that were compatible with satellite receivers they weren't comparable with that particular model of satellite receiver that I got so had to find a friend with a receiver that it would work with to bind my radio, then it worked. But it was way frustrating paying $380 plus $45 and still not being able use it for a few days. I also don't like that unless your in 3d the helicopter is in some flight mode with training wheels. I'm used to my blade where you take off in 2d mode where the blade pitch is locked and the speed of the blades controls your up and down, then when your ready you switch it to full 3d mode and now your blades go fast the whole time and you vary the pitch to go up and down and whatever else. I don't like the training wheels mode because I had almost no control but having to start on the ground in 3d mode is a little scary. But overall I liked the direct drive but I wasn't able to hover it in one place without it drifting in the direction of even the slightest input. I probably could have spent lots of time tuning my transmitter settings but with no instructions from the manufacture and having to rely entirely on Utube videos I never found anyone who had theirs setup that way I liked it. I eventually returned it because I figured out that I didn't like flying it. It was too small to be exciting and too expensive to be fun. ... show more

The M2 EVO is a great little helicopter that flies bigger than it is. Easily and cheaply repaired if you crash. Good first helicopter, that is fun to fly.

Had trouble binding to radio and when it did it would unbind in the air. Tried several different receivers with same outcome.

I just reviewed the M1. I love the M1 so much that I saw M2 at the reduced price, I had to get it. The listing had a new M2 with box damage. Something pierced the outer box and hit the foam case where the top and bottom halves met. It is unnoticeable so I scored as a win. The foam case was unopened and had its cellophane wrap intact. However, when I inspected the M2 I saw that the canopy had damage. I didn’t see it right away because I was camouflaged by the decal stripes. The frame had punctured a hole in the canopy right between two stripes seam. I just noticed a bulge in the canopy. Upon inspection it is apparent the shipment was dropped hard enough for the frame to shift inside the canopy causing the damage. No biggie because it’s hard to notice. I bought the purple canopy from the earlier version of the M2 because I didn’t like the original white canopy. So I got a replacement if needed. The white is growing on me so I’ll keep it as is until the purple is needed. The M2 is great to look at. I am still waiting for a new transmitter to bind to the DSMX satellite I purchased. I’ll add flight review later. ... show more

Had bad battery felt there was something wrong with with unit. If you don't know how to set up don't recommend starting with this version. Built very well, if you buy from company much cheaper.

I buy because a friend tail was shaking a tight bolts that was loses was flyable don’t like the shake what is causing the vibration I don’t know but not for me I need a easy I will try the S1
